  1. I have no real story.

I was around 13 or 14 when I created my account and I loved the WWE ^^

After "Taker" was already taken i took "XxTakerxX".

Now I dont use the nick in other games but cause everybody knows me as Taker i will keep this name here on good old Bafo (:

I haven't seen a single game, where bad cards were being buffed :) It was always easier for devs to nerf something, instead of thinking about a nice buffs.

Well i think if u nerf some cards some "bad" cards get better and will be playable. So u dont have to buff bad cards to get them stronger sometimes a nerf of other cards make them stronger too

  4. If any of you are familiar with Team Fortress 2, we are trying to make them rare enough to the extent of unboxing unusuals in that game. So a small percentage/amount of boosters ratio. Trust me, with the current ideas going round it won't be easy to get them.

will it be possible to get them from something like tournaments? (:

  5. so we all know that promos were worth quite a lot because it was possible to get them through boosters. only by buying the beta key. but now they will be acquirable through boosters. how do you think this will affect their price?

well firedancer wasnt pretty high priced anyways ::P

i think if they are more than ultra rare then the price could be similar to the old promo price :D

  6. I played fire/frost, fire/fire, fire/nature, fire/shadow, frost/frost, frost/fire, frost/nature, shadow/nature competetively. All other decks for fun :)

    Me either ::D

But btt what do you think about community voting which players should be able to discuss? ::D

  7. I agree with that, but you need something to objectively measure who is "good enough" and things like "he can be top wiht any deck" is far away from that. Maybe some noteworthy results in touranments should also count.

Oh and relying on your argumentation you are out for the job cause fire only qq

yea think so too, maybe the devs should decide or maybe the community who is best for this job ::D

You played fire/frost didnt you? ::D

  8. Letting the community decide what kind of "balances" should be done is actually the worst thing that could happen, because its the broad average mass who in general has no idea of the games details.

Yust remember all the noobs crying for changes in the old bf forums?

99% retarded posts cause they lost last game against card xy.

People who are included in serious balance discussions should be like top 1% ranked in pvp, or dependend on the size of the player base top 0.1%.

I dont think the rank should matter who is allowed to discuss.

Rather the best players (maybe who can easily reach top 5 with any deck) should be allowed to discuss.

    For example:

Player A can only play pure frost (I dont call any names) but can play pure frost pretty well and reach rank 1.

Player B can play any deck and reach top 10 with all decks at least once.

I think player B should be allowed to discuss about changes even if he has never reached rank 1. He is able to understand whats op and wont try to get the best result for his deck cause he is able to play all decks.

Bad english but I hope u can understand my poing :D

  9. the most of the T1 and T2 pvp cards are also used in PvE, and there is a different between speedrun expert maps and normal pve maps, if u just ask pvp player you may destroy the cards for pve game, thats why in my opinion we need a balancing of 6:4 of votes for pvp players, cause pve is still a big part of the game and many ppl like me are just playing pve :)

Thats why i would say we have to add 2-3 PvE pros also so they can discuss about results which works in PvP aswell as in PvE

  10. Hey, my name is Were, most of you probably won't know me because I was much more active in the german part of the forums, but there I've posted over 1k posts, so I hope the german guys remember me. I've played BattleForge since 2010 and I truly loved this game and it's community. Yes, even Kaerion had his bright moments lol.

It was almost like an own little world, where you've known so many people... And I hope we'll get to see each other in the Forge.

By the way, you have to enable werebeasts as avatar, I've ever had them set as my avatar in the old forum. :(

    Well yea :D

Even the players who hated eachother are now more than happy to get in contact again :D

I absolutly love this small community ::D

All know eachother but still enough people to play whenever u want :D

  11. That's a very simple way of doing it. tbh I think this should be more of a first step, before any of the real balancing has started.

Yea well sry thats what i ment ..

Just discuss which cards to buff/nerf and after that let it the other players know.

After some ideas how to change the cards ... a second skype conversation could getting started do discuss the final changes

  12. Yea the good old balancing XD

I think they should take a group of players (PvP and PvE pros) and discuss with them which changes could are necessary and work in PvP and also in PvE.

A group of around 10 people (i would say 7 of PVP and 3 of PVE) should be enough. They could discuss with the admins via skype.

  13. Hey ,

Im Daniel aka Taker from Germany. I was top 3 1vs1/2vs2 ladder with pure fire.

Since Battleforge shut down I play Starcraft 2 on Semi-Pro level which means some smaller offline tournaments and some online.

But if you guys get this project running successfully I will play nonstop Battleforge again.

Love you guys for doing this amazing thing.
