Seems like nobody has a fix and neither have I. Fortunately it works. Dunno why, I haven't changed anything :)

I did run the app as admin. Regarding antivirus interferance - I didn't notice any popup warning or spot anything in quarantine. For information I use the default win10 defender. Although I did try running the app while my antivirus was disabled, just to be sure.

Hey, I downloaded both the game and the updater, extracted it with winrar and ran the updater as admin. I have directx too :) As the title suggests, my game still doesn't launch past the updater.
