Yah-Kob
Could be nice if Scorched Earth (Red) gave more damage to buildings, right now it is at 20% extra damage, but I think it is too little. If we had a building with 2000 health (such as Cannon Tower) and threw a Scorched Earth (Red) III down, it would take over 5.55 Eruptions III before the building is destroyed. It would thus cost 525 power to demolish such a building. Where without a Scorched Earth (Red) III, it would take over 6.66 Eruptions III before the building is destroyed. It would thus cost 525 power to demolish such a building. Thus, the outcome will be the same and will not be worth having in a pve deck. Maybe increasing the 20% extra damage would make Scorched Earth (Red) more playable in pve. I would think that around 40% would be fine, with this it would cost an Eruption less per 2000 health, which will be 450 power in total.
Majora
Scorched Earth Red sees play in PvP as a way to counter monuments going up. Adding additional damage boosts would make it problematic for PvP. Excluding monuments and wells from the bonus damage could open up design space though. Yah-Kob
Thanks for the answer, I'm not a pvp player myself, so I do not have much knowledge of pvp. I was just looking from a lens of pve, my idea must not ruin the game. Maybe a spell similar to the one for fire in the future could be an idea. Majora
No worries at all! I agree the spell feels quite overcosted for its effect for use in PvE. Yah-Kob likes this
