Game doesn't start after clicking Play on the Launcher

Hello, below you'll be able to see what's in the log below.

Running launcher version 0.11, after clicking play from the launcher client it closes, I can see in the task manager Battleforge.exe open up, starts ramping up ram and CPU usage and then I see it getting marked as suspended and then closes. Afterwards for a couple of minutes after clicking play from the launcher the BF exe doesn't even appear. Tried re-installing, redownloading,(while installing my antivirus was off), tried various compatibility options(force admin, win7/win8 and winXP(for BF.exe) etc.), restarted PC, turned off firewall, used the file integrity check tool from github nothings missing, nothing seems to work currently.

Could you start the game at least once? Did you maybe set your graphics settings to a too high level? Try to delete the Documents\BattleForge directory and restart the game. Also do a restart (not a shutdown) of your complete system. It seems that there are some processes dangling around.

Report back if it helped you.

Em, last time I played and had the game installed was maybe half a year ago. Today installed it again.

The graphics settings should be on default couldn't launch the game fully to even change anything. Deleted the BF folder in the documents directory, restarted my system still the same thing. BF exe appears after clicking Play on the launcher and after it starts gaining RAM and CPU usage it gets auto "Suspended" and doesn't appear anymore.

The most recent log after the folder deletion and trying to start the game again.

What I noticed while trying out some ways to fix it that the moment the BF exe reaches about 34.9 MB of RAM usage it gets Suspended and closes. Well that's all I got for more info.

We're currently discussing your problem internally but I can't promise if we can find a solution for your problem. Maybe report back if you're good to go with your laptop for a first step. It has to be some hardware/software related problem on your PC. The installation process seems to be fine since you got it to run on your laptop and know how things work.

You should in a first step definitely check your drivers if they're up to date and working without problems. Mostly graphics card and chipset driver. You should be able to find the chipset driver on the manufacturer's website of your mainboard.

Another thing you could maybe try is to limit the BattleForge.exe process in the TaskManager to one core of your CPU. Simply right click the process on the "Details" page and click "Set affinities". There you should select only a single core in that window and hit "Ok". Try to restart the process. If it doesn't work on the first or second try, you're probably unlucky since restarting the PC will revert those settings.

Not really a good move to seize a topic of another person. But since I'm now answering anyways, I'll tell you one thing here. Check out our troubleshooting topic. Especially point 7.

If you still have problems after checking that, please open up a new thread.
