Hey, did you ever heard from Enjin ?

It's a Blockchain company specializing in gaming experiences and connecting games over the Blockchain with tokenized game items.

The vision of the company is a gaming experience like in the film "ready player one" in my opinion skylords reborn is a great game for a partnership.

I put you the link inside so you can contact the guys from Enjin, to talk a bit and find out if there is a way for a partnership.

The benefit that enjin will bring for the gaming community is a multiverse gaming experience. Items in case of skylords reborn the cards will tokenized and saved on the enjin Blockchain address from the people where it owns. And the cards can't be deleted.

In case of shutting down the servers from Battleforge by ea it had meant, you can't play the game, but the value of your spended money/time and your earned cards are still in your property and you can use it in other games or sell them.

And this cards can be used in other games where a part are in the multiverse.

Also it exists a marketplace to buy/sell tokenized game items.

At this point of development a few games are partnerd with enjin and in case of this games you can chose tokenized items from game to game.

Here is a short video

This is the vision

And this is the long version

Is it just me or does that simply mean forcing in a real money marketplace into games...?

Like what big companies do with microtransactions for their games, simply cross-plattform/game with a third-party involved...
Sure, the third-party wants to ensure you that you own the items/hae more leverage but
1) The dev/publisher simply allows that party to have a certain foothold withn their game and the only return they get is "advertisement" ("Hey, this game allows you to farm marketable items, so play it!") -> Why should they do that? The marketing value behnd that doesn't even seem that high.

2) Like with pretty much every microtansaction, the game doesn't get anything of value, except for combining content with real money and another gambling factor...
-> You know, the reason video gaming as whole and moreover stuff like mobile gaming is such a s**tshow nowadays
