Advice for Lost Souls Deck (Shadow + Frost)

Hey guys

Old player here. I used to play a lot with Shadow and had the classic Bandit's Deck, which still seems to be quiet popular. I always fancied about building a Lost Souls deck, but I am struggling.

Also google wasn't much help. You pretty much find deck building guides for every color except Lost Souls. The only thing I found was this:

But these seem to be very specific decks withouth further explanation.

Anyhow here is where I stand.

I want to purely play PVE, so keep this in mind.

 

I am starting with Shadow, Dread Charger, Nox Trooper and Snapjaw (incr. dmg by 50% on enemies), and I really want to include the latter one in the overal build.

Consindering units, Tier 1 one works fine and tier 3 seems kind of obvious with a lot of options, so does Tier 4

 

a) where I am stuck is the Tier 2.

What would you guys suggest picking on 2 orbs / Tier 2? I though about Lost Wanderer (green affinity) and Lost Dancer red (siege)? Maybe the Reaver with red affinity? But no matter what combination there always seems to be a lack for something.  For exampel Lost Souls Tier 2 seems to focus and killing S-units and isn't too great in the anti air department, especially since most air units are M-sized. I am always comparing to having my trusty Commandos on Tier 2 with the Bandits decks and I don't know how to cover for them with a Lost Souls deck.

 

b) What spells and combos are being used on Lost Souls? Is there potential with towers, since Frost is included and Shadow has some nice towers as well?

For t2 anti air that is pretty easy. Stormsinger is both a ranged M damage dealer but also has a built in gravity surge to pull air units down to your level. Just using Gravity surge is also an option. And yes, You have a wide variety of towers to use, the lost 2 orb tower is pretty good, cannon towers, stronghold, worldbreaker guns, the usual shadow stuff like necroblasters. Got the two factions with the best towers in the game and frosts building support and skyelves so you should have essentially the ultimate defence.

What do you think about the Lost t2 units like Lost Dancer, Reaver, Wanderer and especially Lost Shade? 

 

Lost Shade in a group togethere with Lost Wanderer and the ice shield seems pretty valid to me?

Lost Shades are so rediculiously strong they broke both pve and pvp on release. They may have been nerfed but are still damn bloody good. I'm actually a pure frost player so can't be too much help with the lost souls specific cards though as I haven't seen much of the rest.
