DinoPalla
Hello everyone, I have two monitors and when I select the fullscreen option, the game starts in the main one. However, I'd like it to start it on the other monitor. Is there any option for this or configuration file I should edit? I tried running it in windowed mode, dragging the window to the other monitor and then hitting ALT+Enter. It works, but the graphics gets corrupted and it exits fullscreen mode as soon as I click anything in the game menu. Weird behavior. Thanks in advance for any help you might provide. SHARKDOG
I may be wrong but it's most likely that the monitor BF defaults to is the primary monitor? You may have to change the primary monitor around in your windows display settings before you launch BF.
Astiliano
I looked at my log file to see if I could find anything to help: [INFO][Create Device]: Switch to display parameters: 1920 × 1080 @ 0 Hz, fullscreen. [INFO][Display]: Use Direct3D 9 [INFO][GPU]: Vendor ID = 0x10de [INFO][GPU]: Device ID = 0x1187 [INFO][GPU]: Subsystem ID = 0x282b1462 [INFO][GPU]: Device name = \\.\DISPLAY1 Unless I'm wrong, I think: [INFO][GPU]: Device name = \\.\DISPLAY1 Is not set but querying what the GPU chose as the display? DinoPalla
Hi guys, thanks to both of you. I solved the problem as SHARKDOG suggested. After making the other monitor the primary one, I moved the Windows taskbar back to where it was (ie: first monitor). I use this PC for some video recording and I was reluctant to modify my configuration at first but there's really no difference after I moved the Windows taskbar.
