For now, the devs do their best to make a playable version of the game as soon as possible. I'm sure that eventually this could be made possible, but there is no guarantee. As it stands, it's not even sure if the client is going to get changed (meaning different content), but if so, I think the main issue will be balancing and bug fixing.
