HoLLoWzZ Posted September 13, 2018 Share Posted September 13, 2018 Hey, so I had to format my PC yesterday. Redownloaded skylords, and now I cannot turn SSAO on anymore. It says I need Direct X 9 or higher. I have Direct X 12 and I installed the newest drivers and frameworks. The option is still grayed out. Is this a common thing? What could I do to solve this? MephistoRoss Posted September 13, 2018 Share Posted September 13, 2018 Close the game. Open C:\Users\<username>\Documents\BattleForge\config.xml with a text editor. Change dxdisable="6" to dxdisable="0". Start the game. You will now be able to change SSAO. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
