Great greetings, People of the Sky 

Did you know that early in the development of BattleForge the team considered creating 4 difficulties? Some relics can still be found on some maps or scripts: Easy became Standard, Normal is called Advanced in-game, and Hard is our highest difficulty called Expert But that raises the question: what would a "VeryHard" map be like? That's what we're going to find out in this event!

 

DISCLAIMER - THIS MAP IS HARD!!!

No seriously! I made an already hard map even harder, and I'm an event organiser, not a mapmaker or game designer. So let's not talk about balancing 😅

But don't feel discouraged if you're new to the game. This event comes with a staged ranking. So depending on your rank, you win something by completing defined milestones.

There are many changes on the map; here are some of the big ones:

• Added two more attack rounds in the north, one on each side with a wall to defend
• Player one can only take Wells and Orbs on the left side near Rogan (Tier 2 Position)
  Player two can only take Wells and Orbs on the right side near Rogan (Tier 2 Position)
• Changed single units in nearly all camps, and near Well / Orb positions
• Added a few additional units in the camps
• Changed some towers in the camps
• Added a few buildings in some camps
• Changed the unit composition of attack waves in the north
• Changed the unit composition of Tier 1 atack waves
• Changed the unit composition of Final wave
• Slightly moved some Wells and Orbs
• Timings adjustments to reach the middle and when waves start
• Change level borders

 

The Ranking

As in previous events, the Ranking is split into 3 groups based on your PVE rank.
But this time there is also a checkpoint system that comes into play if you cannot finish the map.
That means even if you lose the game, you can still win prizes! So make sure to upload your run.

So ranking first by finishing time, then by points.

The 3 Ranking Groups:

	Bronze Silver	0 -    249.999 EXP
	Gold	250.000 - 1.599.999 EXP
	Platinum Ember	1.600.000 -              ∞ EXP

The highest rank of both players will be used for assignment. (So if one is Bronze and one is Platinum, you will be in the Platinum list) 

The Checkpoints:

Reaching Rogan : 15P Destroy Camp C : 50p  Destroy Camp F : 50p  Destroy Camp B : 50p  Destroy Camp E : 50p  Destroy Camp A : 25p  Destroy Camp D : 25p  Every minute you survive: 1p

To access the map for the contest (or any community map), select the blue icon in the far lower right corner and searching for the map name:

If you have problems downloading/starting the map, you can try to clean up your map folder and try again:
Close BattleForge, delete all files in C:\Users\xxx\Documents\BattleForge\map\, and try again.

Main Ranking:

Prizes are awarded to both players. But each player can only receive one Prize. (the one from your highest rank)

Every player joining this event is joining the random draw. We have 6 copies of 9 Ultra Rare Cards.
I will draw as long as I have cards, or until every player in this event has received 4 cards from the random draw.

A New Star Is Rising:

Every Player with a PvE Rank below or equal to Level 10  will receive a Wrathgazer.

Play and Win:

Every Player with more than 15 points gets a booster!
Rank One  and Two  players receive a Frost Booster 
Rank Three  players receive a General Booster

@UltralordHow is ranking calculated - some people have 1000 points, we completed the map, but have less. Is that for secrets? Surviving every minute - it's only for losing replays, but generally the faster run, the better?

I added a small bug were players could no update there ranking between 17.08.2026 22:22 till 18.08.2026 17:58
Im very sorry for that and hope that payers will re upload there runs to fix it

There might be a bug inpoint calculation, I cleared camp F and ended with less than 50 point

you can send me the replay via Discord ord direct message then i can take a look.
Keep in mind: Camp means all buildings and all units - including the wave running to your T1 position. maybe one of the was still on the move

Im happy that so many players joined in this event, even though its was by far one of the hardest event in all of Skylord Reborn history.
