Forge Of Creation - Until 31.08.2026

Our duty as People of the Sky and residents of the Forge of Creation is to aid the People and creatures of Nyn.
So let's do exactly that with your own creation!

The event is quite simple - Create something connected to Skylords Reborn.
It can be anything physical or digital, like: an Art piece, Music, a 3D Print, Food, a video, a cool moment in a match, etc.

The only rules are:

1. You must be the creator (no stealing)
2. No AI-generated content
3. The content must be safe to share with Skylords of all ages

To participate, post your creation here in the forum thread.

Each player who shared his work will receive a booster at the end of the event.

Let me kick things of.
In 2023 a friend of mine said: Would it be funny to make a song on the melody from "We Didn't Start The Fire" sung by the Burning Spears.
We realised - writing a song is not as easy as you think 😅. Especial if you want it to base on SR and the Cards.

BUT TODAY I PRESENT TO YOU THE BURNING SPEARS - WHO STARTED THE FIRE

First came the Fire Season,
where the Strikers charged.
The Fire force was way too OP,
but honestly that was part of the fun.

Then came the Nature Season,
with the greatest of them all.
Promo Forest Elder stood so proud
what a beautiful card.

In the Shadow Season,
we finally found a challenge.
We struggled, we adapted,
and somehow had even more fun.

Now the Frost Season is coming.
Please, no Battleground missions.
Give us real PvE gameplay,
where freezing the time is what counts.

But what will the promo be?
Everyone keeps on guessing.
Soon enough we'll all find out.

After all,
Skylords Reborn is great.

I have two submissions!

First is a playmat. Since I play Magic the Gathering, I thought it would be a nice way of promoting BattleForge at tournaments, while also just being an awesome artwork in general 😄  

 

Second is a 3D printed model of the promo Harvester!

Story Time

This one has actually been in the works for quite a while. I have worked on Skylords Reborn for over 5 years, and I really wanted something physical to honor and remind me of such an important part of my life. There are a couple of units I considered. Juggernaut is obviously the most classic BattleForge mascot. The issue is that I never had a personal connection to it. I mostly just remember playing against it. I also considered Parasite Swarm, which was the first Ultra Rare that caught my eye when I started out during the EA days, However, its card design is more interesting than its actual model, plus flying models result in weird constructions. Lastly, I considered Shadow Mage, one of my favourite units of all time. I think its a super interesting card, and after years of playing I still feel I'm not using it to its full potential. In the end, I decided on promo Harvester, which triggers quite a lot of fond PvP memories for me. 

Next, I needed a proper model to print, but this proved to be quite hard, since every model ends up in a T-pose in the editor. After the team made some model breakthroughs over the years, our tech-artist Titan was able to get me a custom pose. Ultralord was also kind enough to help me out with information regarding 3D printing, and even offered to print it for me. In the end, a coworker at my job had a 3d printer that was perfect for the job, so she printed it for me. After that, my girlfriend was kind enough to paint it. Big thanks to all of them, I think it turned out awesome!

Lastly, I made a little ''shrine'' of the playmat, boxart and harvester model. I still plan to print out the card itself as well to finish it up.

My contribution: An e-paper display that shows (among other things) the Map Of The Day. I’m still working on the programming and tweaking a few minor details, but the features are finished. Once it’s finished, it will sit on my desk at the office. (I still need to design the enclosure in CAD and 3D-print it.)

The main idea is that it displays the rain radar for my city every 30 minutes. Since I always walk home, I might occasionally leave work a little earlier or later depending on the weather.

And now, once a day, it also updates the Map of the Day. 🙂

Ult was kind enough to post the API on Discord earlier this year after I asked about it.

I drew the small panel at the bottom myself, pixel by pixel. The four orbs are meant to represent the four classic factions. The panel does not support purple particles, so it uses a mix of red and blue instead. The sword is meant to represent the Skylords desktop icon.

PS: I changed the map view specifically for the photo to keep my hometown a secret. 🙂

Yep! I think it's called "Poker Size" 2.5" x 3.5" for the safe area and 2.74" x 3.74" bleed so that no white shows on the edges, (hence the extended sides). :)

My little brother gave me actual Battleforge cards for my birthday!
His name is Pulsar and since he made them he deserves the pack :3
I already posted some in Media so i thought I'd post some different ones here.

Some lore beforehand;

On a quiet winter day in the year 2024. A Italian guy named Donaar, world famous for his internet and microphone cables being made out of spaghetti, And a Austrian guy named Jack1989, world famous for sounding like a German and his only deck being an Enlightenment-Batariel deck, were both looking for a challenge. Speedrunning was their thing, they just needed someone to glue a group together. So I (Ziggeeh) came into the picture, world famous for giving everybody better nicknames.
We started to team up more and more to challenge ourselfs and throughout the months we started to form a tight group. Donaar (The Pizza-Guy), Jack1989 (The German-Guy) & Ziggeeh (Mr. TipFromFlip). All that was needed was a mascot or some extra players to do even more group challenges/speedruns. I happened to know some people; A guy named Kaito_O, world famous for not pressing the Shrine of War button. And a guy named Michielos1, world famous for rather playing console games instead of Skylord. Perfect fit, don't you think? With Kaito_O (The Shrine of War-Guy) and Michielos1 (The forgotten console gamer) joining our group, we just needed a name. It just so happened to be that Kaito_O was going to marry around that time. So there the name "Kaito's Wedding Squad" was born.
With later on all time great "CT69" & the biggest snake disguised as a frog "Krapper" joining, we formed a great group of friends. Almost 2 years of daily Discord calls, challenges, speedruns and most important of all; having fun. This all thanks to this great game, Skylords Reborn.

Onto the creation itself;

Last year our mascot Kaito bought a new house, so I decided to make him a postcard for his new home. Nothing special, but with the help of our group and some fellow Skylords we met along our Skylord Reborn journey I think it turned out great!

Haha unfortunately not, but if you have a local friend with a 3d printer, someone might be able to provide you a file 🙂
A store here offered custom playmats, and I had Tweeto (at least I believe it was Tweeto?) help me provide a good resolution file for it. It turned out pretty great! No one at tournaments recognised the IP yet though.

Hope everyone likes the ice version of Forest Elder… Frost Elder !!, I had the idea of some of my favourite cards rather than different affinities instead being a completely different type !, tried with Fire Harvester and then went on to Frost Elder, I hope you all enjoy !!
