Ultralord Posted January 5 Share Posted January 5 Great greetings, People of the Sky Let's start the Event year of 2026 with a kind of event were everyone can win. The Challenge: Play and win the Community map "The Soultree Bounty" The map "The Soultree Bounty" is identical to the normal Soultree map, but ends as soon as you kill the last unit of the first big wave. Right when Viridya travels to the Soultree. Play on expert difficulty You are only allowed to play up to 2 different cards. You can summon / cast / build these two cards as often as you like. The amount does not effects any ranking. You may only use cards from Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Ranking: Mini Ranking: If you upload at least one valid run you receive one Mini Booster. General Ranking: If you upload five or more runs with different decks the mini booster will be upgraded to a General Booster. Unique Deck Ranking: Each card in your deck receives points equal to the amount of uploaded runs with that card in it. For example your deck contains Pyromaniac which was used 100 times, and Sunstriders with 20 uses. Your points would be 120. The lower your points the higher your rank. (Tie breaker fastest run -> then upload date) There are separate rankings for one and two card runs. There is one Point-Pool. That mens the 100 uses of Pyromaniac also apply to a One-Card-Run! The Event Timeline / Send in your Replay: Map: The Soultree Bounty Difficulty: Expert Goal: Beat the map Until when: 15.02.2026 23:59 CET Winner Stream: 20.02.2026 19:00 CET via my Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/ultralord_t1421) How to join: Upload your Replay at https://t1421.de You can upload as often as you like. Save new decks and updates the time for existing decks. Replays can be found in your Documents folder (C:\Users\xxx\Documents\BattleForge\replays\) How to play the map: Spoiler To access the map for the contest (or any community map), select the blue icon in the far lower right corner: Search for "The Soultree Bounty" If you have problems downloading/starting the map, you can try to clean up your map folder and try again: Close BattleForge, delete all files in C:\Users\xxx\Documents\BattleForge\map\, and try again. The Prizes: Mini and General boosters for one and 5 runs are awarded to all players no matter there Unique Deck Ranking You only receive one prize in the Unique Deck Ranking, even if you are have a One and Two card placement. How do Promo Cards work? - To keep it fair, all Promo are converted to the "normal" card for this event. - Easter egg counts a no card at all. (You still can only play 2 cards inkl. Easter egg on the map) - Edit 10.02.2025: If you play with a Promo card and and the same none pomo card, the website will show it as a One Card Run But for the final Ranking it will be a 2 counted as a 2 Card run! What about affinities? - Affinities count as different cards. How does the points work? 1. Count the card uses of all cards. 2. Apply the Card-Use-Count to each run. 3. Split the Runs in One and Two Card runs, and rank them by total Points. 4. (I have no idea why the example is at 100, which sounds like 100 replays) This is what I think I understand: For one replay: Using 1 card 100 times == 1 point == using 1 card 1 time. Does this make sense or should I try to use a card fewer times inside the game? Edit: Having looked at the uploader website this now makes sense, the goal to getting fewer points is to find a unique deck that can be used. That means if you upload 100 Pyro Replay you increase the points of all your runs. 2. Yes affinities count as different cards. (Nomade Red works totally different as nature and there for should not be treaded as one) 3. In theory YES. A One-Card Pyro run could be 100 Points ending up at rank 100 of 100 (ONE-Card ranking) And a Pyro (100 Points ) + Blaster Canone (10 Points) could be rank 70 of 150 (TWO-card ranking) 4. The map script allows you to play 2 Cards. Collecting starting strategy's so everyone can learn and get inspired from each other. There for ALL replays will be shared at the end of the event. Sorted for Date, Player.. Orrrrrrr wait, do I myself first need to play the map once in order for the game to understand what the map is and thus be able to play replays of it? To be honest, I don't know, but it could be the case. It's been a long time since I unlocked all maps. To watch the replay you need to do 2 thing. 1. Download the map -> This will be done automatically. You just need to open a Lobby in the community map section. 2. You need to be logged in -> some Community map replays do not work from the login screen. Use the Book icon at the top of the screen and then replays.
