Battle of Tactics #11: Perfect Timing - Untill 28.06.2026

Great greetings, People of the Sky

The idea of this event was born in January 2025, and only one month later, the SR-Team implemented the necessary feature.
As you can see from the creation time of this post, stuff has happened, so I had to delay this event.
BUT FINALLY: Let's see how good your Timing and coordination with your teammate really is.

The Challenge:

The challenge is quite easy: Take a Teammate and finish a custom version of "Sunbridge" as fast as possible.
But it's all about the Timing!!!

For a 20sec timeframe, you can only play Units, then Buildings, then spells, and then the cycle repeats.
So you have to coordinate when to attack and when to defend.
The cycle of Player one and two is offset (but both start with 20 seconds of units)

Since people get annoyed by switching the gate -> I will do that for you every 2 min.

There have been small adjustments to the attack waves - but you will see what I mean when you play the map 😉

For this challenge, there is a card ban for the following cards:
Infected Tower, Twilight Infestation, Bandit Hut, Sunken Temple, Phase Tower, Tectonic Shift and Incubator.

Ranking:

Main Ranking -> Bronze | Silver | Gold | Platinum | Ember:
- Finish the map as fast as possible on a difficulty you feel comfortable with.
  Depending on your PVE Rank at the end of the event, you will be assigned to one of 3 Ranking lists. Each have their own Prize Pool! 
  The highest rank of both players will be used for assignment. (So if one is Bronze and one is Platinum, you will be in the Platinum list) 

	Bronze Silver	0 -    249.999 EXP
	Gold	250.000 - 1.599.999 EXP
	Platinum Ember	1.600.000 -              ∞ EXP

No Need For That Ranking:
- Play as few cards of a Type as possible. (Units / Buildings / Spells)
   The ranking is based on the card Type count of both players.

Difficulty:            Standard / Advanced / Expert

                            You can upload as often as you like and with as many teams as you like.
                            The page keeps the best run for each team in the ranking.
                            Replays can be found in your Documents folder (C:\Users\xxx\Documents\BattleForge\replays\)
Note:                   The community map will be featured during the event. So you can use it for Season Challenges. (If you are brave enough)

How to play the map:

To access the map for the contest (or any community map), select the blue icon in the far lower right corner:
 Search for "Battle of Tactics 11"

If you have problems downloading/starting the map, you can try to clean up your map folder and try again:
Close BattleForge, delete all files in C:\Users\xxx\Documents\BattleForge\map\, and try again.

Prizes:

Prizes are awarded to both players. But each player can only receive one Prize. (the one from your highest rank)

Random Draw:

Players can appear multiple times in the main ranking, but they will only receive the prize for their highest position.
All other prizes that would otherwise be lost will be entered into a random draw for players who did not win a prize.
 

A New Star Is Rising:
Every Player with a PvE Rank below or equal to Level 10  will receive a Wrathgazer.
