Cant start game anymore

Hello!

Just started played this game and have played for a week, but now i cant start the game. I tried reinstalling and it doenst work. I get the message "pcre3.dll not found. Problem can be solved by reinstalling the game"

I really want to play my old favourite game again! so please help

Try adding an exception on your anti-virus for Skylords Reborn game folder.

If that doesnt work, try starting the launcher as administrator.

hello I have already done these manipulations and nothing works, however I have an error code said

the first message;

Unable to run the code because pcre3.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem

the second;

pcre3.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. reinstall the program using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or software vendor for support. error status; 0xc0000020

I also get this error when I try to launch "Battleforge.exe". I believe we are not supposed to launch this file, but Skylords launcher/updater instead. Not sure though since my game is also not running and I cannot verify.

je vois que je ne suis pas le seul à avoir ce problème de prce3.dll manquant. Dommage ca faisait 1 an que je rejouait a ce jeux (jeux de mon enfance) et après tout ces heures consacrées dessus je pense que ce bug et cette dernière semaine a tout tenter pour relancer le jeu sans succès signe définitivement la fin de mon acharnement.

Try checking your antivirus. This file might be in quarantine.

j'ai désinstaller mon antivirus 2 fois ca n'a rien changer

Hello same issue worked fine yesterday, it stopped working today

I would like to add I haven't changed antivirus since I started playing this game about 2 years ago.

Uninstalled the game, and for a test uninstalled antivirus too and redownloaded the "BattleForge.7z" & "SRInstaller.exe" additionally restarting PC.

After a clean reinstallation of the game, it seems to work well.

Guys, antiviruses are deleting the "pcre3.dll" file suddenly. Look into your quarantine containers and get the file back while making it an exception.
