    1. no enough logs been sent, you can play the f**** out of this game and send 0 log you can test this game by playing it and send log. the latter is what i do, even to the point of actually going in and out when we had the *2game disc* always 4-5 month ago maybe?...

    I think alittle more education about the state of how people are doing this would be nice for you.. including the fact that again no one send log and those who did already quit for the wait of the release

     

    not sure how long you been here but sadly dont think those who left will be willing to explain everything to you and i rather not, i did everything i could in here and now im waiting for the release after the wipe ^,^ which will be done

  2. I'm gonna skip to the end...

    started as a tester which was the purpose of this beta phase.. *OPEN STRESS*.. saw the trello and very much asked to see what was needed to be done in here.  https://trello.com/b/vvpUdT3b/skylords-reborn-roadmap-to-release-2020-q4..

     

    After reporting alot of bugs and new bugs I started to just have fun in this game [still would report the files if freezes or crashes], 

    Did everything in game, solo everything in all expertise except bad harvest solo [only mephistoross and another seem to be able to do it, i couldn't after more than 24h straight]..

    After finishing everything i gave my cards away and just like everyone else who has been spamming the discord am waiting for the release of the game that was promised * PATIENTLY* (haven't even asked once if the release is out yet since I left, just checking once every 2 week or so a monthly checks)..

     

    Why wipe? 

    First and foremost it was promised to many who keeps coming back to discord and asking "is the wipe already happen? when is it happening if not?"

    Many who were nicest enough gave their cards to newbie to enjoy their gaming (even though we are not here for enjoyment but for testing, but I can agree that the testing has been going far too long to not enjoy it [1 year] )

    Alot of players coming back (huge reason why probably the changes for balance hasn't happen yet, as majority of the player would get on the changes once they come back since many are playing other games, and probably waiting for the release to return)

     

    Notes:

    Many are here to play the game not to test, that was obvious once kubik ask why people wouldnt report the logs of things going worst after the that update fixed alot of the issues way back then, which now is being issued as a link *how to step by step send log* in discord.

     

    I heard the reason why we still in the stress test, is because the same reason above, which is player not sending logs, infact when I played i told them to send the log which i showed them how to but still many of those didnt even send it either (cause they here to play not test). Shows you much about the community we have and their reasons for playing...

     

    Lastly for those who dont understand logs, imagen trying to build an empire state building, and something goes wrong on many floor levels, imagen no log being sent (the log can tell if the structure is not strong enough, if there is a problem with the design etc etc ) and you keep trying to build or finish the empire state building..... well foremost we are not going to get to the finish product, we will just be playing around it until the complete logs are send.. and once even at that point more problem may arise which needs more log being sent.. just saying..


    Anyway, waiting patiently for the release of skylord reborn. ^,^

    cards that makes it to easy i usually tell emma to take it out... example i show a case of the dragonhunt and how easily it is to use blaster cannon and mark of the kepper to get to t3 like nothing, then use t4, then use green afinity dragon that shut down building, and all the range dragon gg....

     

    before this on all his simpleland i made video of it and how easy it is to use amii monument. a dicussion was made to take all cheating card out of there. so i re-enter and did one map and use amii and got a automatic lost... this was good because me and lucky20 then went to each of his map and finished it the card way [all shown on my youtube channel] and each one was dam fun. Emma's best map to me is still simpleland7 the mechanic was extremely well done for us. we enjoyed it... simpleland 8 was to hard without amii and you need your partner to help you on void .. simpleland 8 was one of the most sadistic map in the game.... but my favorite is simpleland7

    as for this one im glad that he went with the banning of cheating cards... shrine of war is not a cheating card so im glad he kept it... still waiting to see the replay of those who finish it. i wish them goodluck. and if there are a any new player who need card in order to enter this event [jump to my event as well] still 17k to go

Over 30k+ battleforge was given away, i will be fallen asleep as you see now but i will be sending bfp via mail if we are not on at the same time, so far we still have funds so the event is still continuing. So if you are a new player and are seeing this right now look at the permanent link above and list some cards.. looking for new to 1.5month player... If the fund takes a while to deplete, i will be calling 2-3month player event though they should be having alot of bfp by now and a complete deck.. So people who are new, get on it.

    basically all you have to do is get into the server and name the card you want. i will check the price and send you battleforge point that will equate to the amount a player may get... in other word you probably can get up to 1000 worth of battleforge point and you will be able to get the card you need. however, if i feel like being even more generious that you are trying to get alot of small card. i may increase the battleforge limit per player... that is a maybe and you will have to find that out for yourself...

    would preffered new player to join but i also helped some mid player too who was in need of some bfp...

    Lost spirit ship green [for some heals hit it with a armor tower, my opinion to be best recycle usage],

    take green affinity over purple on lost dragon [cost is crap cheap on buying charges for lost dragon]

    launcher red affinity is way stronger than blue if you can grab one

    homesoil

    [these are more of pve set up, if you doing pvp modes, might want to ask pvpers, rpve [once you have a lost spirit ship with recycle you are good to go]]..

    note: there are alot of more card that can be set up for frost shadow but that depends on your bfp accumulations as infect cost 3k+ and there are other card for void power like cultist master and furnance of flesh..

    Hi i had this problem 1 month ago

     

    during that time. many people also had that problem and some not all send log to kubik. kubik worked very hard to fix the problem.. so far during that date on my end the problem was fixed.. the video show that i log in in the beginning and had no problem and then i log into another map and had constant dc every 2 match constantly.... i show this to kubik and ever dc i sent him my logs... after the update, i showed there was 0 out of 100th of uploading into map even playing 1 fully and no dc..

     

    If you dont send your log how can someone help you? What you need to do is everytime you dc/crash/freeze send the log to kubik if you dont know how to do so

    by the way. 38 player voted that the server didnt get better it gotten worse. guess what out of 38 people only 1 send log? kinda stupid isn't it? it gotten worse but no log send? iq =1000 on those people

    Tournament for pvp. I think majority of the highlights are pvp. When watching Eirias and radicalx videos, i think that were the skill really are, i couldnt think about casual or speedrun in skil wise after watching huge amount of pvp videos.. So great tournaments with cool prize and recognition trophies [like a cool glowing blue neon [or same color as mine craft blue armor enchanted] potrait that say 1st 2nd 3rd place...

     

    I have alot of idea for speedrunning as well but.. sadly i dont want to support it so ill stop there for that one..

     

    Causal can have events of finishing x map with different theme...  finish this map with t1 and t2 only.. or finish these maps on expert  4man duo or alone. etc

    @Ombreverte I think, some players want to change Battleforge completly, but I dont know, if anybody still wants to play the result anymore, if we completly change it. To be honest, I think even one small change would have a huge impact on the reputation of SkylordsReborn, because it would not be exacly the same Battleforge as we know. Right now, I am telling the new players "All cards are still the same, but it is free2play now". The causual players, who just want to play the game and do not even bother themself by discussing about card changes will get a really bad feeling, if they here that something got changed. It does not matter if it is a big change or a small change. Just the moment, when they here "Something got changed" they will feel bad.

    But dont get me wrong, I am not against changes. There are cards like "Fleshbender" which are completly useless in PvE, since the card just do not work in PvE Maps and it is also completly useless after a certain skill level in PvP, since "Fleshbender" is binding 120 energy for the very limited use case. @Kubik Fleshbender is a goode example, why counting the number of decks with this card, will give you a wrong impression. I see it sometimes in decks of new player with "Fleshbender", even though it is completly useless(edited)

    I am just saying, that it could make some players thinking bad about SkylordsReborn, because it would be a "changed version" and not the "vanillia version" of Battleforge.

     

    It seems there maybe two type of people... and i see this in many games including private server WoW

     

    Old and New..

    Do we stick with old battleforge for nostalgia..

    Do we move into new battleforge because we are not battleforge we are skylord..

     

     will people play the skylordreborn because of old nostalgia and how the game use to be

     will people play the skylordreborn because of what has been changed and this is the new 2019 battleforge [SKYLORDREBORN] Game..

    As some of you may or may not know, I have recently gotten my wife to play BattleForge with me. So far she's sticking to rPvE and she's having a lot of fun refining and mastering decks.

     

    Since I'm observing the NPE first-hand, I thought I could offer a few suggestions and points.

    1. She was not interested in the game until she started getting boosters. Specifically, when she got soulshatter in like her 7th booster. Until then, I had to convince her to play.

    SUGGESTION: implement rewards earlier-on. I know we're trying to prevent multi-accounting, but imo we could take a slower approach. For example, we can keep the 2.5 hour requirement to get boosters, but allow bfp daily quests to start at hour 0 and provide specific cards earlier-on via achievements. We could give an extra copy of MA, SS, forsaken, and WW for the first time a player tries campaign, pvp, rpve, and upgrades something. If possible, I'd like an achievement for players to choose a rare card (or some good uncommons with similar price) to add to their deck. These cards should be powerful and feel good to play: I'd recommend soulshatter, mind control, inferno/earthshaker, ice tornado. Players should get to choose which 1 of the 4 cards they get after they do something like buy a card on the AH.

    I really want to emphasize this feeling of uniqueness. I think I was lucky that my wife became interested in the game and it was because she got a nice "feel good" card early on and decided to start building her deck around it. 

     

    2. She has not been interested in trying new game modes like campaign and pvp.

    SUGGESTION: First, more achievements. For instance, that "feel good" free card could happen when you clear 5 campaign maps for the first time. I think there should be a general increase in achievements to boost players trying different aspects of the game at least once.

    Second, seasons. I don't have a better term for this. Basically a week/monthy quest for all players to play a certain map/game mode. New players are not encouraged to play pvp because basically everyone who plays regularly is an expert. When there's 4 people in the queue and they're all in the top 20, a new player is not encouraged to join. I think there should be "seasons" (either 1 day per week or 1 week per month) where a particular 4 player map or pvp is given emphasis. So for instance, on Saturdays  (maybe even a 2-hour block on Saturday) there will be a standing PvP quest where players get an extra large bonus (maybe a full booster) for playing PvP. This would encourage all the new players to enter the queue at once, and most would play another new player.

     

    TL;DR

    Create more specific achievements with useful cards as rewards (probably a choice of 4 cards so one doesn't get its price reduced) and have time blocks where specific game modes are promoted, especially pvp as a way for new players to feel like they are playing other new players instead of a pro.

     

    First of anything that increase the activity of the game is a plus for me..  so reward should be happening.. i made a suggestion for expert but that a small one beside of the one that is usually talked about..

    my idea was for pre-release, not only to see how many player can do it and enjoy the reward but for motivating player to do so.. this idea can be pushed to the advance and standard or like you said the 5 campaign reward...

    However, we must be aware that we are on the open stress which i said this countless of time so as long as they dont get mad about the wipe, everything should be fine....

    plus others can enjoy the the reward as we have 2 type of player  in game..  those who enjoy the game [play for enjoyment, less log sent] and those who play for testing [those who sent log and are at the ready to test anything that is being given to test so that we move on to the release already]..

     

    In the end my understanding that Xlink is fond of giving reward to player in achievement, but want it after the release as he feels it is best intentions as shown on the pm 8/25/2019.

    If we are gonna talk here about anything, than i would also love to ask about the amii t1... I kinda like the diversity of a t1 having access to other tier. you made a hurricane which you call out spell, would also they allow to summon creatures of that tier? example let say i want to use my nightguard to steal powerfull creature in enemy behind the lines or stone skin charges in convoy, would i be allow to use amii to summon shamin to heal them?

    Amii Monument comes with many disadvantages (examples below) compared to a normal orb and the developer simply lowered its costs to make up for that.

    - Amii requires save space to be build, which can cause you to need more defense [dont think this is usually a problem. most amii are build next to t1 area, and if t1 area isn't save, than the t1 monument isn't safe either, putting it in respectively, putting an amii next to a monument= safe, if you are not gonna protect the regular monument you are not gonna protect that amii, thus you lose both]
    - Amii takes 45 / 30 seconds to be build plus an additional 10 seconds for the granting of the chosen orb, making it significantly slower then a normal orb [i feel like these perspective are all speedrunner but ok, the seconds never matter because the requirement of building an amii vs attacking the spot to get to the next orb is better. So if you build an amii vs attacking those spot, the amii with t4 will kill those spot extremely quick, this also depends if you using void manipulation to spam summon.. many player that i have spoken to never minds waiting for amii at all, however, i haven't spoken to speed run respectively, only a couple that are not even top ranked]
    - Amii requires to becompetitive in build-up speed with a normal orb a construction hut, limiting deck choice even further as frost is required for the hut [i feel like this is speedrunner mind, so i guess so, if this is all speedrunner mentality i would agree if not i dont]
    - Amii can only be started to be build after your t3 is already finished, whilst a regular orb can be build at any time [why would this matter, is this pvp? do player use amii in pvp? i have watched many pvp so far and i havent seen amii being used.. if this is not pvp, than  you are right that monument is faster than building amii, but you still have to go through the obstacle of getting to that monument to even activatye it, and that takes time too, worst in expert maps]
    - Amii total up front cost for building and orb selection is higher then for a normal monument, requiring void return and thus limiting your deck again [once again it still wont matter, all speedrunner tactic uses it and see that even if it has the so called higher cost, they rather use amii than none, i think i already linked one video but i can link many more if needed to.]


    Especially in a speedrunning perspectives those points cannot be easily neglected. For a casual gamer they do not play a significant role and the slight power cost increase does neither. Making the proposed change effectively a nerf for everybody, but the only thing that really changes is that speedrunners times are getting hit, usage won't be affected.

    Majority of the speed run uses amii, Not once have i not seen amii not being used in the majority of the video of speed run. If all the above you said was valid the player would reconsidered a bit on it.

    for pvp this is not an issue, i never saw it yet, still looking.

    for pve there are alot of things.. one the speedrunner needs it.. almost everysingle one of them needs it. [take for example soultree,which with it you can jsut skip last camp and win the game]

    for regular pve, it depends on what the player find fun. im sure the one using it is having a blast. but there are other technicalities, 

    1. it makes the game extremely easy but i guess that what people want.

    2. i have gotten in a run in dwarf riddle with 2 style.  

         - one the player uses amii and doesnt help the other get the orb, even though the player who doesnt get the orb helped him get his.. thus he sits waiting forever defending in base while he finish the game

       - two the player who got the amii pushes the game to fast even for the other side to prepare a defense since they are slower than the amii guy...

     

    both occasion always depends on the player....

     

    sadly as i said above the only nerf they can possibly hit is the cost.. if not for that,than i guess just leave it alone and let the game run it's course.

  15. IN a competition with no amii [cause amii would cause you to straightly win]

     

    the person use rifle cultist is a smart way.. i loved the way he used it...

     

    i also seen some use it in speed gunlyr where he kill the other side of the camp from afar... its a great card for specific maps  but not a great card for every map, atm it has been used exactly as the above said. offering. to allow player get some charges or manipulated more charges if they want to spam 1 type of unit..

    I never see rifle cultist in pvp cause it never gets to the point of t4 [hardly t3]... and even though i have seen it in pve, it isn't something eveyrone would use. i mean you do hit your ally with it if you tried..

     

    rifle cultist without its ability would be another filler so i agree with the sentiment of a buff.. 

    the way i see rifle being introduce into a mechanic is to hit pesky camp from afar without risking to much, slap a unholy hero and unholy power and you got your self a good damage unit [only for ability]... still not worth using in majority of the maps..
