  1. Wow, thanks for saying this, I am glad this helped you anyhow. If you find difficulty with any sort of the map, you can send me replay and we can watch it live on Discord and I will gladly suggest things to specific moments. Some are mechanic-knowledge, some are micromanagement and some are deck design based. I like having versatile decks that can face all kinds of shit - paralyzers, vigils, Mark of the keeper, evil eyes etc. I am also growing motivation to actually record comprehensive LS guide that will show how much easier it can get. I really dont want LS nerf.
  2. The thing with LS is that people try to play it with faceroll strategy like other factions while it requires proper tactics and specific behavior. I agree, many do not know it and do not look at the details. 1) Lost Dancers - spread your small units with F. E.g. one pack of Imperials can tank 1 dancer forever, so you can freeze lane (e.g. 2-player rpve). Lost Dancers - apply a debuff, so if you wanna go with Harvester and Life Weaving, you have to cast LW first and undead army FIRST. If you try to go in and get debuff applied, Harvy will die like a piece of meat. 2) Lost Vigils - CC, clear buildings, then kill the Vigils. Trying to fight them with proximity of spawner/towers is useless. 3) Lost Manabeast - pull away from other units or tank it and kill as last, as it leaves a healing buff. 4) Archers (with long range) - send something in melee, so they lose big dmg. 5) Lost Dragons - have Incredible Mo yellow mode or worst case, try to have more melee units and take Dragons down first. Or micro your army so only 1 range unit gets hit, not the whole stack. 6) Lost Crawlers - they fucking explode when they die. Why 80% of players just stand in it? They ALWAYS explode, not sometimes. I understand taking the explosion first 5 times, but is it really so hard to figure out and move? Above things require some micromanagement and thinking. But those small details really make a huge difference and make LS very doable. Those are just some critical things to have in mind, not all and I am probably not aware of what I am not aware. ^^

  4. Hello, I got back to recording. No specific reason. I am on Corporate Downsizing achi and since I am completing the maps I thought I could share my ways for those who don't know how to do it. It's mostly improvised and imperfect, I can choose to share or not to share and I chose the first ^^ I got Siege of Hope done; Defending Hope, Treasure Fleet and Behind Enemy Lines are done, now I need to record replays and do the commentary.

Haha I am too far from being an artist to correctly answer this one. 😞 After seeing so much stuff on https://civitai.com/ (is this really below our standards?) I believe any could have been generated and any could have been drawn. The gems - well, as mentioned, those were my first 3h with AI image generation ever, so I didnt try to make something "ready for BF". People train their models with what they want. Also I was doing those gems with inspiration in mind regarding my suggestion to add more symbols to player frame (like we have title, icon, border, color), so my idea was to create something like 32x32 pixels. I think noone would notice they are mobile or not. All in all, if you have considered it, there's nothing more to add. I will report if I notice something that may change the situation.   7. Depends on the model files used, I believe the ARE open source safe ones. Also I think it is safer in terms of legal rights to use local AI engines aka Stable Diffusion, not internet generators. With proper care (using safe models + retouching them by human artists) has negligible risk of anything. Billions of graphics are generated globally - EA didnt have resources to keep BF alive, do they have resource to scan if AI-inspired 32x32 pixel icon was trained on copyrighted material...? I don't know anything about 3D modelling. What format does BF use? Hmmm, I am not sure, Kubik, I understood what does 32bit process has to do with 4 GB of memory in AI context - you use AI to generate output, then its a flat image or a 3D model. That's all the use of memory. Could you elaborate?
  8. I see, thanks for sharing! I felt bad with quality of some shadow/fire/frost so made some more samples. Ofc AI doesnt have to fully do the images, it can be a starting point, refined by professional artist.

In short: 1) I like how the game develops 2) Assumption: I believe it takes a lot of time to create new art 3) Assumption: we can use AI's support to have BF-styled new beautiful content My steps: 1) Installed some local AI tools and I am starting to learn - atm 1%, a lot of knowledge to acquire, models and other shits I dont understand yet 😉 - same for creating good prompts 2) Just as a starting point - I am sharing some first-attempts for BF faction emblems/crystals or whatever (for unknown purpose xd). They can get a lot better in later time, but I wanted to hear some opinions if there is a point of me to learn the stuff. What do you think about this step? To have more icons, player emblems, achievement icons, ability icons and so on? It's far beyond my abiltiies, but it is also possible to generate 3D models so maybe we can have easier way to push the game forwards?

NAME: imperials get stuck in slow-mode even after de-activating the ability DESCRIPTION: since last patch OR server maintenance (cannot tell): imperials after activating ability once lose their normal speed forever. Even if you deactivate the ability or apply soulstone, they are stuck at the same slow speed. REPRODUCIBILITY: it is a rule, not an exception so it was reproductivble 100% of times yesterday. SCREENSHOT/VIDEO: I have a replay - you can view me on rpve. At 6:50 when I finish clearing a camp with master archers, imperials and tempest, you can click imperials. I de-activate the ability. There are no debuff effects applied on the unit. They keep walking slowly, so I kill them a few sec later (knowing that the bug occured again).     Merged lobby

    How about mixing ALL campaign + rpve + community maps into one master lobby where players can see ALL open games and choose to play something more than RPVE 9? This would make the game more alive - "most of us" automatically and mindlessly join rpve9s. One lobby would encourage people to play different things, including community maps? Visualization:

  16. My crashdata.mdmp is from Dec '22, because the problem I am reporting causes blue screen and PC reset and the file crashdata.mdmp is not created. 😞 What other logs/files may help resolve this? I really want to return to BF, but now the crashes are too frequent to consider the game stability reliable.
  17. No, I don't use Discord. 😞 And there is barely anything running in the background. It was OK all those years in EA times and since the release of Skylords Reborn, just started happening after some patch in Feb or March 2023. Ruins all the pleasure, coz there is no point in starting a match when I have 70% chance for computer crash. 😞

Hello, I did not notice exact moment when it started - it has been for 2-3 months now. 1) At the end of loading a map (most often) OR 2) In random moment during the game monitor goes black, the PC crashes (no blue screen though) and restarts. It has never happened (in BF or Skylords Reborn), so it's a new issue. Dont know what kind of logs/screenshots I can provide to help troubleshoot this. The game is up to date, so are the drivers. It may look like overheating, but it happens when starting a map and CPU/GPU are not definetely not hot yet (+ it's a new issue; otherwise it would have happened before I guess). Plx help :)
  19. That is a bug, because I am pretty sure it was correct (not just then, but since May when I play BF), but was not accepted. I notice that if my client has lost connection, but the game didnt crash (so I land in login screen), I ALWAYS get the wrong password error. Never posted it coz I thought it was a known bug! So if battleforge didnt crash AND I can try to login => there will always be "wrong password error" until I quit/kill BF process, then re-start the game.
  20. NAME: Client has lost connection - probably because of software update prompts DESCRIPTION: I am happy because this may be a solution to most of crashes I experience. Today I had 2 crashes: 1) frozen rpve game, alt tabbed and saw "launcher.exe has stopped working", after that in the game a window appeared "client has lost connection". What probably happened was that Windows update became ready to be downloaded. 2) I couldn't relog so had to restart (actually relog into Windows). I got into another game and same shit happened. This time I saw Apple stuff update Window appear. My hypothesis: something related to out-of-game prompts causes the game to crash. REPRODUCIBILITY: Based on the description above, it may be reproducible. Haven't tried myself. SCREENSHOT/VIDEO: --- no need --- LOG: Logs from today are attached. Some will be related to unsuccesful login attempts. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Now when I think of it, crashes by software updates (Win, Apple, RescueTime, Skype, etc.) may be the cause of 90% of crashes I (and perhaps other too) experience, so fixing it may be a big relief!!! :) logs.zip

My pvp rank shown in the ranking screen is Warlord, while next to my name among other people is Destroyer.
