  1. @Volin all numbers are examples not personal opinion its a geaneral suggestion or better said idea of a contentexpanding item and the forum i see as the platform to discuss around such ideas. but its always knada the same that when there are specific examples that those examples arent taken as examples. to the other thing opinion are opinions we dont have to share the same its even better when they are diffrent since it is for the sake of the game. what in the end will make it in the game or not is not something 1 person does decide. for me is expanding the content and expanding the players freedom the best way to improof the game to achive a rising playerbase to increase the fun of playing the game. the playerbase problem or declaim of it was allredy expected befor it was lunched. a nerf and keep the game as it is no expandtion is the way to keep hardcore players but it would make me sad if i would see that the game is only played by only 1-2k players or if it even getting offline again. 2 sides of the same medal keeping as it is or expanding when i scroll down on the suggestion site i find it kinda sad that some topis didnt get even 1 reply in a month i remeber the start were it was around 100 replys in a few weeks so im happy for any reply even if their not positive to the topic itself. i agree with u and the suggestions i make like this new card is one of many ways to get that "increase" u speak of
  2. nerf wy nerf a game that expirience a declimbe of its userbase well i never spoken of not changeing the existing enlightenment. for example rising its power cost to 300. tru there is kinda like standard deck build for batariel where enlightenment is regulary used. amii monument has the the thing that its a cheaper orb than getting the vanilla t4 orb cause 250 is the frozen power (if builded without construction hut) and 140 for the orb itself is cycled over the void so u only loose 14 power each time u use it. @Cocofang i may make a lot of suggestion cause i care for the game that only a few getting reaized in the end doesnt matter to me made a lot of suggestion befor closed alpha and also there some made it even if they werent 100% as the topic start. but being active and searching solution to repopulate the playerbase keep it satisfyed as well is on one side over expandig the content kind like the game LOL new champions coming in even if the map stays the same it getting content in thats wy it stays popular and still attract new players. sadly the content and reputation of the old forum didnt get all over so u would see it for urself. u can have what ever picture of me as u want im to old to realy care. since im born in the old millenia befor the internet was born xD and yes i am serious alldo may have issues to writh short replys due to not native english speaker but a big thanks to everyone that replys to the topic and show that hes active in suggestion its normal that the first few replys are primarly againt it allmost everyone that starts a topic here knows that and can deal with it. there are usualy more peoples debatting against stuff then there are for stuff cause many dont reply. just like everywehre primarly in politics u see that.
  3. na im 100% pve player most pvp matches i saw were fire shadow or frost plays cant remeber haveing seen a nature play
  4. @Majora - MidnaMistfire well then sorry i did understand ur replys in the way that ur against it. against legendary cards and new cards that allows diffrent deckcombos Fire/frost and Nature/shadow shure need some cards but just useing the models from other cards and changeing the colors a bit may work for some alldo a few would be nice to have a new and fresh design. Frost/Fire also has the problem that they are more less enemys fire has many anti frost shield cards but it has also some openings like frostburn, fireshield, melting away frozen units.
  5. this is a tecnicly very general topic / suggestion to modify cards that are almost never used in gameplay like: (examples only) specialy pure color cards of the lower tiers change examples: - Energy Parasit can also Drain power from own wells - Enforcer knock back small units on charge - Knight of Chaos ability "Chaos" does only apply to enemy units (but duration is lowered) - White Rangers cannot be knocked of walls while not in home defense little changes on abbilitys but no changes in hp or dmg there are many other cards that as played even less and some changes to them might improof as well the amount of it to be used in the diffrent gamemodes a mode for slow units to gain normal movementspeed but useing shield hp to do so "burning"(visual) units slowly deal dmg do enemy frost shields (units that use some kind of fire attack) (these are all examples of possible effects)
  6. @Majora - MidnaMistfire well this was a maybe suggestion and also something that may can be used in events (rainbowcolor) i see ur poin but adding more power to pure cards is a huge poject cause u will have to balance a lot by changeing it. Battleforge was released in 2009 and shut down in 2013 now its 2021 during the 4 years of existance amii and renegade was added to the game so a lot of expansion in only 4 years in 2015 the closed alpha started and now 8 years after shut down adding new content doesnt seem to be a bad idea if phenomic would not have been sold to ea the game may have expirienced more expansions over the time. i think in 2019 was closed beta and in 2020 open beta and now with full release this is also allredy 1-2 years without major changes (expansions) and when thinking back the game did run 4.5 yeas in total then 1-2 years is a very long time. also others see that there needs something to be done for the game: so expanding possebilitys in deck creation is a simplke yet effective way to add new content to the game. i rather play a game where i dont have to wait 30 mins to fill a 12 player map. i can remeber the old days where it was a matter of 2-5 mins to find 12 players for a map. and the more the merryer. better than a dead game that doesnt change. as european its better atm but if ur from a other continent u have a lot of troubble finding players during the happy hour gametime 6 pm - 12pm. shure adding comercial may improof but its expand the content has a greater effect. if adding content means i can enjoy the game more and have to search less for mates to play im happy. im the creator of my decks i have it in my hands who i combine the cards. for pvp i mean fire wow so powerfull firedance t2 juggernouth t3 hella powerfull but reaching t4 than gather enouth power to use a enlightenment + the power for the unit after it noone would do that. so where can u use it rpve. after reaching t4 its tecnicly a steamroll (if not playing batariel) so no big strategic gameplay spaming heals all the time. in pve campain when u reach t4 the game is almost won allredy finding the changes is hard tru playing a 4player map solo on expert there u will have it a bit easier but cause u do it solo u barly have cardslot free in a deck. and only keep the game as it is for the sake of those that like to show everyone that they got the longest d*** they can proof it with showing their replay.
  7. this reward remains cause u know it and u can say to urself u made it without. mean i also played games where i restricted myself to only use common cards and it was a selfmade restriction iand felt also rewarded but i woulndt force other to do the same. i think freedom is what everyone wants in one way or another i would hate it if my country would change from democraty to dictatorship only because someone else like that more. or removing all canals and byciles from netherland and replace them with only SUV's cause someone like that restriction. U have the freedom to restric urself and feel the reward of it but forcing other to do it aint the same same sa the game is free2play it is also free2notplay xD

This is a idea that came in my mind as i was reply on a other topic: Adding a Event to the game of the length of maybe 1-2 month were everone getts new cards (which were allredy test in advance to be shure they dont bug) to play and test them in gameplay and at the end of the event the cards getting removed and the community then can vote which cards they liked and which not to determent the winner or the winners which will then getting permanent implemented into the game it may be restricted to a event map or at least banned from 12 player maps to freely test them and try out new builds voteing maybe ingame made so every player gets a vote achivment or so in order to get many player to vote
  9. faire statement they are powerfull but "realy over powerd" i dont think in pvp i would definetly agree with u 100% in PVE not. if a card gets played in the game is up to the player itself and i know of many cards they are sweet but noone plays them even if they own them. tru every new card new map, change of stats and so on changes the game as it was but it also adds new content and new fun. and fun draws in more player more player more maps getting played and more fun has the playerbase. my goal is to improof what is allredy great in order to be greater than only great. sadly there are many peoples that would like to keep battleforge unchaged like it was and dont give it a chance to improve. it adds more freedom but noone is forced to taste this new freedom @Volin thx u leaded me to another improofment of the game what i gonna post in a diffrent topic
  10. i truly understand ur point. stay on the way of how to makeing decks like in the past 6 years ago i joined the community a few month after the start of the projeck and battleforge is a old game so many or almost every deckcombo was allredy played over time. adding a ned card that opens up a ton of nwe deck possebilitys i dont think its a bad thing and compairded to pure decks: the card has 1 charge (4 on max upgrade) reuse maby ever 60 sec recharch every 120 sec shure u can use offering to get faster more charges but it will not chage the game in a big way currently u can do is t5 and a lot of orbswitching to achive the same result. with the card its no longer needed but its higly limited on how many times it can be used and accireing 4 charges will be high costly if we take the normal enlightenment ah price. + u loose a cardslot as well so even if the card would make it in a deck then only up to 3 or 4 cards may would need diffrent orbs in the end which is more creativity freedom but not gamechangeing. so u dont have a pure t4 card in ur deck otherwise u wloud need to have enlightenment and amii monument in ur deck but u have to use enlightenment if someone else was faster in building a amii monument but what is if u play thunderweagon pure fire t4 it gives the card with 2 affinitys so if u wanna play that card u are foreced to ether pure fire or enlightenment but then u have the problem that u have 8 charges in total of it but u have to wait unli enlightenment is rdy again or play without and other color. amii monument shur adds t5 but only 1 may exist in the map so if someone esle was faster ur doomed again. i dont know how many players haveing "IF" decks where they have 2 ways to spawn their units depending on situation. specialy in rpve where player best play togheter in order to beat the map. what also is to think about t4 is mostly never played in pvp and in pve every player wants to win the map givvieng more options more wasy to solve the puzzle adds a lot more fun to the game cuase there are allredy a ton of strategys devlopped and its allmost impossible to create and new one kinda like coocking from a recpie but adding a new ingrediance opens up new possebilitys. a card chage or a colored card or so only adds the change of that card. the amii enlightenment woulndt change the card balance only opens up new possebilitys of combineing the existing ingrediences to create a new and fresh serving. (watched a bit to much foodwars lately xD)
  11. by finding howlong a map regulary played needs to be solved could add some benefits to it like the more time is needed the higher the XP and gold rewards alldo with a limitation in leght so speed still would bring a lot of gold and xp but if u need longer than avrage then u get maybe 2x the mount of gold and xp but compairde to a speed run it may takes 4-8 times as long. example avrage run 20 mins: 0-10 mins = 2000 gold 100 xp +20 xp win 10-20 mins = 3000 Gold 200 xp +20 xp win 20-30 mins = 4000 gold 300 xp +20 xp win 30-40 mins = 5000 gold 400 xp +20 xp win 40+ mins = 6000 gold 500 xp +20 xp win so 3 speedruns would take up to 30 mins and reward 6000 gold 360 xp but compaired to a avrage run of 20-30 mins its only a + of 2000 gold and 40 xp that way speed bring still the best way to get gold and xp but aint to much more to other times (all numbres are only examples) but is a lot of effort for a problem that is kinda not worth the effort. since i played Battleforge under EA and during Beta i got the skill of how to play the game and i only did 1 lvl 5 rpve match at the start (to get some cards and upgrades) and then i played rpve 9 allredy cuase i remeber the how to play way from the passt and the rank aint whats metter always check the deck if u feel uncomfterble. diffrens between bronze and gold rank is for me only the card and upgrade pool how skilled is something else what i primalrly see in how the deck looks. diamond for that rank u have to play a lot and would be to deam bored only doing speed but maybe ur the one that got feeded then. Simply check the deck that tells u way more than the rank (like ascension map 1 if the deck only has 2-3 t1 but 5 t4 u will know)

Amii Enlightenment Works as the normal Enlightenment alldo its t4 and has no color restrictions. while the spell is active no other player can use the card, but after the spell is over its free to use again so ever member of the team with tis card can use it once the spell is used or decayd. adds more freedom to deck compositions and players are nologer doomed to have 2 nature orbs but it requires 4 insted of 3 orbs
  13. wy not add a new card to get it done like a legendary t4 enlightment. with that every player would be able to use other colored cards once they reached t4 and since its a legendary it doesnt need any specific color. + since its a spell the card itself is only block while the buff is active so the intire team can use it if they hhave the card in their deck and also the animation end else can be easly be copied from the normal enlightment. the handycap is only the powerloss i personaly wouldn recomend to make the powercost lower than 200 for it so a 20 powerloss is in but ur free to play as u like if full fire and still use an regroth or spawning a forest elder, dreadnoutgh or else. but if u play nature u still have the advantance cause u only need t3 wuth 2 nature orbs to une the normal enlightment. If a player plays a singleplayer pve or rpve map all cards will be on upgrade 3 for the mission but fall back to the previos upgrade lvls befor starting the map like: a upgrade 2 card with 2 charges will be in the map a upgrade 3 card with 2 charges and will after the map drop back to the upgrade 2 card with 2 charges or maybe a upgrade 2 card with 2 charges will be in the map a upgrade 3 card with all charges and will after the map drop back to the upgrade 2 card with 2 charges if this option is permanent or until a spezific rank is reached needs to be diusussed (if until a rank then its more like a help to starters) or if its direct looked to a rank (like silver 1) that until reaching this rank all cards will be upgrded in any type of map or mode but ether way: the achivments of the upgraded decks will only count the deckpower by starting the map and not the inmap boosted deck.
  15. i see i see i cant realy speak on pvp since im primarly play pve alldo even ther there would be events or addons needed. bf didnt chage the missions are the same the starteqys are the same its the same. but what would happen if campain maps have with the help of a event diffrent unis as enemy like Passage to darknes suddenly is vs lost souls or a nightmare shard is vs bandit? would add new tactics and ways to beat it. in pvp/pve what if the orbs are rainbow colored so that the orbcount is still t1-t4 but ever orb supports every color or only the start orb does so. player could enjoy playing diffrent strageys/decks an expansion of Missions would also lead to the new fres expirience. or a combined mode of pve and pvp where for example (Empire) both teams have to do pve and instead of help each other accros the map its makeing it harder for the opposing team, until reaching the end of the map where they then can teleport to the other mappart and beat the hell out of them. for me pvp aint much interesting since its mostly over in t1 or t2 and no building bases deff and other stuff kile a fortress fight. but wy not such a thing map team 1 in the north west, team 2 in the south east, npc enemys in the other corners and the nps fight themself in the middle but will also attack both teams so that its a total war with a lot pve tactics. what might help a bit is something that makes it easy and simply to stream the game via discord (discord doesnt see it as a game and dont offers the steaming option and a easyer installation and starting of it may olso improof a bit on the gamerbase) cause star for me means doubble click the icon on the desktop, giving permission to run the programm (administrator suggestion due to trojan or else between the programms) then klick play on the 1 screen, login on the secont and then im finaly in the game. would love iff it would be doubbleclick and then the game direct starts and only if its the first time a popup over the entrance to choos a ingame name/password and then being linked to the ip so aslong its the same ip i dont have to loggin again but also a adding it to a platform like steam could improof the playerbase @anonyme0273 i agree that something has to be done to keep and rise the playerbase as non pvp i can only make suggestions to expand the content which can also only be a event content. but also for pve it need new content battleforge was online for 4 years now 12 years after release and 1-2 years after beta something that expands the contenen even if only for a limited time would be nice. corona will be beaten probably in 2022 and less peoples will stay at home and also in summer peoples wanna enjoy the outdoors more. bigger comunity add more fun less boring waiting. for me pure pvp may never be a thing in BF but pvpve may where both gametypes are nessesary in order to win.

There are many peoples that asking about resetting their accounts. to enjoy a fresh start and fresh achivments currently it is needed that the team has to do it manualy and proof if the account holder did follow the instruction (like not tradeing cards out and stuff like that) The self Account reset will be linked to 2 new achivment that has to be compleatet in order to be able to reset the account. (suggestion is linked to the Cardshredder suggestion: 1. Compleat spezific achivments (achivment) 2. shredder specific ammount and cards over the Cardsredder (achivment) to activate the reset order - a spezific ammount of BFP has to be payed (high amount that equels around the played time) alldo a fix price for everyone the same - a spezific rank has to be achived (this is a maybe, due to pve and pvp players would make it hard to set a spezific rank) - a specific amount has to be played (active ingame time or daycount since start or last reset) (maybe not a need if the completet daylie quest are a needed achivment) That togheter apply the order to the staff and they then allredy know that the player made the needed stuff. this will simlyfy the prozess of the reset and takes away work from the staff. the staff then may only have to look closer if the time between start or reset to the new order may has some issues like carde trade out and so. a tool to also help proventing a inflation of the cards ingame and simplefy the resets

Shredding cards for BFP to prevet card inflatino this suggestion will be combined to an other suggestion: Self Account Reset: What comes new: A option to shredder a card's and getting BFP out (fix ammount per card/rarety) - helps to prevent a card overflow and price inflation since the cardstock increses daylie and almost non getting destroyed (resets of accounts)
  18. did loose also cards in trading over market place. did sold a card for 690 bfp had the message and all but no bfp were added to my account sadly. but since i know its beta i didnt report it and nsuff like that can happen.

Hello Dear Devs and Projekt Team This is a Collective Topic/Post with all the Stuff that might not work properly (personal expirience "incl. chance to be wrong) and some suggestions To make it easyer Letz start with the stuff that might not work (bugs & stuff) - Im not shure how it was under EA and if its a change on purpose but units regenerate close to every friendly building and not only close to wells and monuments. so i dont know if this was that way under ea (lot of time has passed since then) or if this is a wanted change. - the ability of the Nature Tier 1 card "Amazon" affinity Nature, gives a buff called "Wildlife Protection" whitch indicates to give a healing boost to every friendly beast or forestkin creature within 20m. this buffs applys on beast creatures but not non beast creatures of nature like windweavers or shamans. So it kinda doesnt work correct. Now some suggestions - lowering the booster pack price to 300 BFP - after lowering the price of the basic booster adding color booster that contain only cards that have at least 1 orb as requierment of this color + the neutral cards for the price of 450 BFP (so those color specific boosters would grant a higher chance to get the wanted cards due to the lowering of the colors/cards those contain). For example: - Fire Booster, Containing cards: Fire, Twilight, Bandit & Neutral - Shadow Booster, Containing cards: Shadow, Lost Soul, Bandit, Amii & Neutral - Nature Booster, Containing cards: Nature, Twilight, Stonekin, Amii & Neutral - Frost Booster, Containing cards: Frost, Lost Soul, Stonekin & Neutral - adding weekly quests (like around 4) where u get ether BFP or Booster (if the top 2 points getting in the game then regular booster) - adding monthly quests that also give ether booster or BFP or both with like stuff (Time spend playing in several hours, or collecteted set amount of gold/expirience) - expand the afk befor autodisconect. as it is by now u cant answer the door or a nature call during a battle or u will get auto disconnected (never checked time but i guess its somewhat around 5 mins, would be sweet if this would be enlarged to 10 or 15 mins. cause when u switch back to desktop over windows button u can stay longer in the game befor disconnecting more than a houre. so far thats all maybe there will be more and i will post it in the topic or edit the main post. keep up the good work greetings Asraiel
  20. jup i tryed to play the game was in deck building and after adding the 5-6 card to the deck i got disconected all the time tryed several times in a row. maybe by the time there were to many allredy on the server, have to test if the problem remain at a diffrent time. only real problem i realy have is that my anti virus programm always at 1. lunch of the game putting the Luncher.exe into quaranteen, after getting it out manualy it does work. only useing AVG Free Antivirus, no internet security or firewalls at all on pc or network
  21. nice it work alldo everytime i want to start the game it transphereds the Luncher.exe in the Quaranteen of my AntiVirus programm (useing AVG Free). After opening the Antivirus and get the Luncher restored it does work. but i should have choosen a shorter pw reenter the pw around ever 30 sec due to serverloss (lobby deckbuilding) getting frustrating after 30-40 times. =D but nice to see the lobby on my pc again (without looking a vid) is there somewhere a topic where stuff like Failures in open beta can be posted/reported. dont know how it is handled by the devs and team

      @BurningWorld  well theres a gab between u and lead dev but yours is nice as well. but after rep reset i didnt let it be fixed had 48 befor reset so i started from 0 again as long it stays green all is good :D

      and from fiki show me how active he is in forum cause there are not that many topics, posts or chat from him compaired to u (focus on chat) :D

  23. i apreciate that alldo it would be nice if we get like a quartal date. for example 1. quartal (jan-Mar) 2. (apr-Jun) 3. (jul-sep) or 4. quartal (okt-Dez) or u can also go with winter spring summer or automme. that way its kinda of a date but with a big space in case of seasons its less focused on months and if u go into a bigger scale than that then u can also made it 1. half of the year or 2. half. if u get all redy working as wanted i would recomend that u give the team a 1 week free space befor anykind of release that way u can also set it on a special day like saturday or so when most dont work. or during the week to lower the traffic a bit. all together i would have realy wondered if u could have keept the 1. release date in a company this may have worked but on a free programming base and missing exp. on bringing such a thing out did fail, but that wasnt any wonder to me and the following dates was more a wish. but luckly u learded a lot from it and you may never again made such a fail. (i refer the words u or you as full team and not u alone) (even if it may sound like a critic its meant positive = failing, trying to save it, overthinking, learning, made it better, never do the same fault again) keep it up the good work and i dont expect you to act or to be proffessionals of the gameing industry & dont apologys all the time faults are everywhere so peoples can make them and hopefully learn from them and this here is new land for you so makeing faults is normalaty and no need to appologys for make them.
