  1. So any plans on making Bandits harder or excluding them from Expert difficulty?

    I have played quite a few matches vs Bandits and Bandits+Stonekin and i am very disappointed.

    Stonekin+Bandits at least have a moderately difficult T3 and T4 with an XL unit and Windhunters but regular Bandit maps are just an insult to everyone who is looking for a challenge.

    Bandit T3s and T4s are even easier than on Advanced++(lvl9) since there are no spawn buildings. In my opinion Bandit maps should either become harder or be excluded from Expert difficulty.

    Stonekin+Bandits are still pretty easy but at least you can look forward to fighting difficult T3 and T4 bases.

    we get 4 orb Units and we literally fight against 1 tortoise and t1 t2 Small and Medium units with poor defense. or we get swarmed with t1 units before we reach all monuments, instead of fighting some bigger sized ones or any more unique bandit units. ( Like Lancer, Gunner, or 1 Soulhunter would be challenging and not the hardest etc.)

    Yes this is so disappointing Expert(lvl9.5) difficulty Bandit maps are WAY too easy they dont even feel like Advanced difficulty.

    I was so excited about Expert difficulty because i always hated how easy lvl 9 Bandit maps were and now its the same all over again.

    Now i have the choice between leaving and letting down my team or wasting 15-20 minutes playing something boring that offers absolutely no challenge. 😞

    I am really enjoying all other factions Twilight Nature Fire and Lost Souls but Bandits and Bandit+Stonekin maps are just a massive disappointment.

Since Patch #400042 - 19 May 2023 rPvE 9 Lost Souls T2s are much easier than before the old hard T2s with 3 Spellbreakers 2 Manabeasts and 2 Lost Wanderers on the inner positions(2 and 3) have disappeared completely. To me this really looks like a shadow nerf but maybe its just a programming error or whatever you call it.

    Im not sure if those replays help because this is not really a bug id also like to see comments from other enthusiastic rPvE 9 players like me because im 99% sure that something is wrong with Lost Souls maps.

  4. Right now i dont but ill upload one here as soon as possible. Also there is another weird thing i have noticed while 90% of lvl 9 Lost Souls maps have much easier t2 than before Patch#400042 there are maps where you get instantly attacked at t1 by Lost Spellbreakers unfortunately i dont have a replay but i have a screenshot.

  5. Thanks for the responses. Yeah maybe im just unlucky but all T2s of lvl 9 LS matches i have played so far looked like this:

    I cant remember ever encountering such easy LS T2s especially not multiple times in a row. After T2 everything seems fine.

  6. Have there been made other chages to Lost Souls besides the Lost Wanderer change? The last rPvE 9 match i played was laughably easy at T2 there were only 2 squads of Minions 1 squad of fighters 1 healer and 1 spellbreaker. That was the easiest LS T2 i have ever encountered as far as i can remember.

    Werent Twilight Slayers nefed too? Because now they do less damage when an enemy unit is close to them or have they always been like that? Maybe im just paranoid but the 3 lvl 9 LS maps ive played so far seemed way too easy.

    Yeah but why are the Forums dead nowadays? Because Discord has better features? Why not implement those features here and bring the Forums back to life? I dont know why a game with such a small community needs 2 Forums. Im my opinion they should have never started using Discord in the first place.

    Sadly this is true i complained about this too a while ago and they told me that they are making those important discussions on a site named "Disord". I have never used that site and i never will this are the Skylords Reborn Forums and all important discussions especially those about balancing changes should take place here.

  9. SoW nerf hurts but it makes sense but was the Satanael Nerf really necessary? When i was playing Satanael at T4 i always had performance issues but it was never even close to unplayable. Are there any players that had performance issues so bad that the game was unplayable for them? Satanael with Snapjaw spam was a very fun niche strategy and now there is no reason anymore to use him at T4.

    The discussion and community interaction was there, whether you like to acknowledge that or not. If anything the fact that part of it took place on Discord lead to more input not less. Also awfully selective to completely ignore all the times where things were adjusted or just downright thrown overboard based on community feedback. "Not what I wanted the result to be" or "Too few adjustments to the changes that count for me" does not equal "Nobody asks anyone about anything".

    This is absolutely not true for casual players sure if executed perfectly pre nerf Batariel was very strong maybe even OP but for casual players one man army Batariel decks were high risk high reward decks. I dont know mow much Battlegrounds lvl 9 you played before the Batariel nerf but I saw more players fail with one man army Batariel decks than with any other deck.I havent seen soneone with a one man army Batariel deck for a very long time but i tried it a couple of days ago and i was pretty underwhelmed.

    I dont play much Battlegrounds lvl 10 but id really like to know if one many army Batariel decks are viable for BG 10 again. Now speaking of Bloodhorn if you nerf it too how exactly are players supposed to win hard BG 10 maps? Pre nerf Batariel decks and Bloodhorn decks are the best decks for BG 10 and even with those decks alot of players failed. And after you nerfed Bloodhorn whats gonna get nerfed next? Fire Dragons or Wasteland Terror + Unity and Bloodthirst? Powerful cards are needed for BG lvl 10.

    Also i would really like to know why there was no topic about Batariel in the Balance Discussions part of the forum before he was nerfed you just made those changes without asking the BF community first. There are topics about Colossus and Necroblaster but not about Batariel.

    Primeval Watchers are now actual Trash Tier useless cards.

    Yeah changing Primeval to require 3 nature orbs really makes no sense to me its not like Watcher is so powerful that his orb requirements should be so restrictive. Bloodhorn for example is MUCH more powerful and only requires 1 shadow and 1 fire same applies to Gemeye,which by the way recieved a buff without changing its orb requirements. I wouldnt call Primeval "Trash Tier" but changing his orb requirements was just a bad idea.

    This kind of reminds me of the Batariel nerf. There wasnt even a topic in the Balance Discussions part of the forum they simply nerfed Batariel to death. Then after alot of people complained they finally buffed Batariel again but that buff was just not enough in my opinion one man army Batariel decks are still pretty weak compared to what they were before.

    The Batariel nerf was never needed because for the average player Batariel was never OP alot of casual players failed with pre nerf Batariel on harder maps either because they misplaced a spell or simply because they attacked too early and ran out of energy all it took was one mistake and Batariel died.

    Also from what ive heard Decomposer was also nerfed to death without asking the BF Community and that made alot of Speedrunnders quit. I was never interested in speedrunning so i payed no attention to that but i cant find a topic about Decomposer in the Balance Discussions section so i guess its true.

    Dont get me wrong im pretty happy with what the Skylords Reborn team has done so far but some of their decisions make absolutely no sense to me.

  14. Another solution could be selectable difficulty levels for rPvE 9 and 10 maps like on campaign maps.

    For rPvE 10 for example: Standard: Only easy bandit maps that most lvl 9 players can beat.

                                           Advanced: Anything between easy bandits and Lost Vigils insta attack maps.

                                           Expert: Maps where 1 player instantly gets attacked by air units Lost Vigils on LS                                                 maps Windhunters on bandit maps Skyfire Drakes on fire maps and so on.

    How do you beat a lost souls map where you get insta attacked by Lost Vigils at t1 without even spawning a unit with anything except fire? If players dont work togther with Eruptions its game over at least in my experience.
