  1. Simple answer to the poster and everyone complaining about that: G-R-O-W - U-P Next you gonna make the developers ban people for the things that you complain about which frankly you have 0 understanding of.
  2. Regarding pvp which i never play and i think it would be the most affected by this card, may i suggest a new card mechanic... Basically everyone can play this card (like neutral) except it is not neutral (making it only possible for 1 player to play it). A universal 1st orb card if you would like it. And at the colour orb you could have it use all 4 colours, 1/4 of the orb each colour. ***Hearthstone started using this mechanic a few while back where each class could play specific cards (new cards at every expansion as well) from some other classes. Not only it allowed them to cut time creating new cards but made the game more interesting. I think it would be the ideal solution here where we dont have either the same resources in development as AAA francises as others in creating new stuff and can solve cards and time uses in the long run. But for now experimenting with 1 card would be a good start.
  3. Woudnt be a simple and effective solution to this problem to just talk in anyones native tongue, inn whispering? Someone not speaking or understanding english can ask something in global or whenever but there is no need to answer in lets say german in the chat as well. Cause its true that its annoying to the majority having witnessed it first hand the chat filled in german in beginner, global and trade at the same time (no joking), propably cause there is no point in what channel you answer since everyone is watchable at the same time. Someone not knnowing or understanding the languege watching an entire discussion in it while trying to spot a WTS/WTB or whatever in chat just doesnt work out, so the extreme of him putting you in the ignore list is kinda understandable. And surely you dont want people to start using this solution freely as lets say you answer in German once, instantly be put in someones ignore list and then thats it you never trade with him again in chat. And simply the endgame of people freely using their languege in chat and having a constant flood of English,German and add everyone elses language just makes people not look at the chat anymore. Just the same if you had to watch me talking with someone in constant Greek and having the entire server watch us
  4. Well thats a thing to get to the developers attention, I'm sure it will be better that way and solves this post issues as well in a way. There we go
  5. So that supposed dude who works half a day, needs 8 hours of sleep, needs to eat and spend time with his family so he is propably left with an hour and lets say he spends it whole on Battleforge for a reason, and on top of that requires to stay relevant at the game, he cant reroll a quest he doesnt want? Or dont do them for that day and wait the next to eventually get the ones he can and simply reroll again the yesterdays ones? Thats 2 solutions right there for your man. Come on the working man excuse is old, simply admit you dont like the system yourself and lets end the discussion here. Also, if you think getting 150 bfp after you do the quests doesnt give a sense of accomplishment well no point in me trying to discuss it, waste of breath at this point. And what does relevant mean in BF? This isnt mmorpg or anything of its sorts, there is no relevant player. You can take your time or you can go fast that is on you, deck 0 can even easily play advanced with other dudes. Only 'relevant' players are the competitive ones and pls dont joke the 'working man' will want to hit those ladderboards. BF doesnt force you to keep up on something it has that uniqueness yet you wanna throw it out the window. Should we also add an extra option for the 12h working man to have every achievement automatically accomplished so he doesnt feel forced to spend time actually playing to achieve them?
  6. In that case i can only assume that choosing your own quests would each give you lets say 50bfp. Since its basically free bfp cause you gonna pick whatever doesnt make you not go out of your way and you can earn while playing however you like. Still i am against this, i already stated that game is way too much easy already and doing stuff like this only dumbs it down even more. You can have a "too much player friendly" situation which i feel would only work against the game longtime. Seen it in a few others as well, try to make it easier and easier and easier until you dont even have to try basically and then games population dies out. Same as i did quited and never looked back at them. Almost 1/3 of the posts i see now in the forum in some form just proves my upper point right. "I dont like this so change it", " This takes 15m and i wanna do it in 5m", "This would make me do something i dont like for 20m and i hate it", "Achievement is too hard for me so remove it". There is real feedback and personal opinions that dont have any actual basis. And in the end, yes we have that option to have a real community-developer relationship but that doesnt mean that everyone gets to change everything however they see fit for themselves only. Cause the more we focus on that the less time they get to develop new stuff. And i dont think anyone would prefer to sit and rework the quests for example cause you cant afford 15m to do something you might not like or reroll (but no those 5 bfp loss will bring the apocalypse) instead of working on the so much anticipated new cards, like the shadow/nature deck that we never saw in the old BF.
  7. Well you do what you feel better doing. But to sum it up doing quests is on you. No one will tell you to do them mandatory and if you dont feel like doing them, well dont. Just the same as your boss telling you to do some hours paid overtime at work if you want, you can do it and get more money or not and simply go do whatever you want after your work hours are done. Everyone has different types of 'what is fun', if you dont like something dont do it or suggest a better option to replace it.
  8. But you have game time. 400 possible bpf to be earned daily by simply playing whatever mode, howerver you like. Having quests is just a bonus. You can choose not to do them. And i mean not today, you can totally wait for tomorrow and get either new ones to get them stacked or a new reroll. And about those 5 bfp you gonna lose, well that is the toll. You can skip doing quests if you dislike the whole mechanic altogether, no one is forcing you to do them. But to remove the whole system and simply get the bfp, when you already have the bfp over time mechanic, you already have basically free upgrades with gold and you have free max leveled decks for your pvp. Well lets give everyone every card and be done with it, i already think game is way too generous and all i see in the forum now that the game is released is people trying to downgrade it even more with more and more free stuff.
  9. Guys having played a lot of games for a lot of years i can feel you in all honesty. But lets be real thats what dailies in every game feel like. And i am not talking about the start or mid game when you actively enjoy or dont mind having to do that stuff for the rewards, i mean the mid/late late game when they become what their names is... dailies. If you have any game that dailies are not a chore anymore after you do them for weeks then pls reccomend it to have a look at what that game does that dont make their dailies feel like something that 'forces' you to do them. Also what would you reccomend in place of what we have now? Having a lot of different quests makes it that you will enjoy some and dont enjoy some. Having too few quests is the same with the exception you might have the same repeatable quests more often. Choosing what you want to do exactly well then lets dismantle the qhole quests idea and have everyone get 150 bfp daily in their inbox. Some days you will get lucky and have good q's, some other day not so much and then on a few days like the fellow who made this post. Any new ideas highly appreciated
  10. I actually like this idea a lot. I have seen it in a few games been implemented and was a lot of fun. There it was more of a roulette where you put a bunch of stuff you wouldnt need/use and boom -> generates something new. Twist was that you could get either something crappy like 65% of the time, something fair 30% and something really dope like 5%. And i was just thinking yesterday that gold is just useless for me when ill finish upgrading my deck. But the idea you put forth that actually gives base to the 'low' cards that no one bothers to even buy for 3bfp at AH as well, i can fully support. And i would add that there is no reason to flat out give a booster for lets say x amount of cards and a gold fee inserted to the "grinder machine". I would put percentages in. Just randomly lets take the ones i put above that would give a booster, 2 boosters or 1 booster and an uncommon and lastly 3 boosters or a booster and a rare. And why not have a 1% to get a promo as well. Its just the mentality of chance. No wonder AAA games and so many others utilised the loot box system that made them billions in cash. For the same reason people open boosters here, we love randomly getting stuff with the chance of an extreme award. You would see people appreciating a lot more stuff that are simply ignored now. 'Oh you got 35 twillight minions sitting there?. Well why dont you try your luck and make use of them in the grinder and maybe they give you something crazy.' And i would add maybe buying boosters with gold. Make it stand alone currency and not only a fee in something else. But in order not to flux the game with boosters it would have to be a bit pricy lets say 50k gold a single booster. This is not for new players, i think of it as a way for people who got over everything and simply get gold by playing and having nothing to do it, now having a possibility to spend it somewhere.
  11. I dont think there is a single human being that would reject the first proposal with any good arguments. Thats how games live and die via their content. If a content becomes repetitive and obviously boring people just drop the game. You can see that in games such as Hearthstone that uses cards as well, that in every new patch that they introduce new content the playerbase skyrockets again. But that is on introducing new cards which players try to figure new combos and how to make new strategies. There have been talks that all brand new cards would be introduced in battleforge as well in the future so we can be damn sure that this will work out. But until we reach there rebalancing some cards would be best. For example, i read in the patches page that Ravenheart would get a brand new ability ( op in my opinion) and then i rushed and bought a Ravenheart promo in anticipation of that update. In the end that specific one did not make the cut but you get my point. It made me change my mindstyle and go and apreciate a card i dont give a damn about, not even discussing how it will affect the market etc. So i think that not only changing health-attack which is balanced in a way in my opinion already since we are talking about the old style Battleforge gameplay, but adding new abilities altogether is the way to 'swift things around'. Yeah some will be op, some will be a bit less and some might all out suck. But thats how things are kept interesting. League of Legends used to throw a new champ every 2 weeks back in 2011 and now they release one every 2 months, but its stiill enough to engage the playerbase. And dont forget we already have our own broken cards like Batariel. We have a nice launch, the market sorted itself out and the pvp thing is working as well in a way ( those 3 i think were the major issues discussed before the launch), so we can look forward how to develop the game now in new ways unexplored..
  12. Friend every post that i read that you created is you complaining about something that affects only you. Apart from what Zyna answered to you above you want to match pvp and rpve 2 completely different gamemodes to suit you. If you want gold specifically then go play rpve. If you did not want to play rpve today then that is on you. Pvp in every game that i have played in 15 years i game is a different mode that does not emphasise on farming something that you can also farm in pve but in fighting other players and what that means. 2 days ago you wanted achievements toned down or outright removed from the game cause YOU personally couldn't do them. Now it is gold issues cause YOU felt like playing a mode that is not the most viable way to earn a resource. Game does not revolve around you pal. We have the chance here for constructive feedback from the community which as proven time and time again is taken seriously by the admins and implemented into the game. Pls keep in mind that that feedback is for the entire community and what the majority likes and not a select few. Otherwise we will have posts like 'remove a faction cause i dont feel like playing it myself' or 'today is was bored to play pve so you should give me extra gold for playing only pvp'
  13. There are people working for future content, one thing for sure this isn't the old Battleforge that will go stale with no new content added in the future. Anyhow you can always go to the suggestion thread and add some juice regarding what new achievements could propably be added in the future. Best way to see new stuff is to actually invest in them yourself, not many games give that kind of opportunity to their community
  14. At what point the game becomes 'too much easy'? The guys made everything possible to be on the side of casual gamers that cannot play as much as others and tried to make the experience smooth for them as well since they can't pay up to catch up as in every other game. But here we are talking about 4 hours around of gameplay. If you can't even afford to give 4 hours of gameplay on a random day of your choosing then I am sorry but how much easier do you want the game to become? Helping people with time issues is one thing, making the game a bit tonned down to assist the fact that p2w is removed is acceptable and demanded obviously. But dismissing the entire community of hundreds to be on the side of the few that can't even afford a few hours ONCE to get the boosters, then we shoot the game in the foot ourselves.
  15. Has been a few years since i posted a suggestion and actually invested myself again in the project after a few irl difficulties. But as i see that this is the hot topic for now may i offer a solution that might help or simply be the basis for some similar alteration, or just plain garbage xd. Would it not help if the premade fully upgraded pvp decks were allowed for anything but ranked play? You can use them anyway, anyhow but you can't take them into the true pvp thingy... the ranked games. For that you will actually need to grind the other part of the game as well so that you get the necessary materials to build the deck you want thats it's 'you' and with that you can go and try conquer a spot in the ranked ladderboards. I am not a pvp guy by any means so i only give this feedback based on what i saw from your own comments. One problem that i see immediately is that game has launched and people have already went into the ranked with the 'op' decks and have already started ranking up. Hope any of this helps, remember anything and everything here is just to have fun

  17. For starters good job on your work and getting all proposals in one place. Second, giving the statements above it came to my mind that there will be no more need to play specific maps since you can just buy the upgrade. That said one might simply complete the map once then farm gold on the most farmable one since he can just buy the upgrade instead of winning it. To avoid that may i propose to make the 2nd upgrade highly more expensive that was supposed to be and the 3rd so expensive that would just be better to go and win it in the pve map. I can't talk numbers but i hope you understand the ratio i try to pass. We are all glad that tokens are out but that shoudnt undermine the new upgrade system. PS : I have no idea why the text is like that
  18. That is literally the same as buying bfp. Giving money to server upkeep or charity in exchange for bfp doesnt make it a donation as it contradicts the word in its essence. I personally had started a topic regarding the softcap system and it got some good perspectives with the support and extra ideas of other forum members. Regarding the casual gamers appart from the softcap system and the dailies we cant do much at this time. Game is made as casual friendly as possible without giving a great advantage to multyaccounting. Now it is up to the player to keep the tasks done.
  19. Greece is the place, greek souvlaki is my food
  20. I would like to link a discussion regarding the Softcap system and how useful it would be if it were to be implemented instead of the bfp daily limit.
  21. My suggestion would be to have a cap of 3 active quests at a time. As said many people would have no time to play BF at a day, something that can happen to anyone BUT with the 3 q. cap each day will have a worth enabling the player to ''catch up'' the next day. Of course if all 3 quests are filled there will be only 1 reroll for the day the player logged in. Yes that would encourage multyaccounting as someone will stack up 3 quests then log in and do them all at once, still as we dont know for final how actual time a single quest can take we cant say if it will actually be worth it. Plus as mentioned multiaccounting cant be fully countered so you must decide how much is a ''lost'' day at BF worth.
