    Honestly if you want Hype.... Especially for those of us that have been around for a long long long and I mean ancient times.  I would suggest balance the cards we have first.... At least some of the Major ones for each faction.
     
    That alone will change the dynamic of the game and allow for a fresh breeze.

    The test server is something totally different.
     
    The game is currently in the Open Stress Test, which means anyone can play but there are still some bugs that need to be worked out. The devs don't want a "full release" yet because it would look bad to tell people the game is ready when there are still bugs.
    I believe there is one reset planned, which will occur when the devs are ready to declare an official full release. This may happen within a month, or it may be more than a year away. No one knows (probably not even the devs tbh).
    I wouldn't wait to play the game, as long as you're having fun . Don't worry about a reset, the game is fun regardless

    Hello there,
    currently, the old 12-player scenarios Ascension and Passage to Darkness are disabled due to synchronization problems. In fact, these 12 player scenarios were not actually maps with 12 players but each just three connected four-player maps. I will try to make independent four-player scenarios out of them, thus create 3 individual maps out of Ascension + 1 out of Passage to Darkness.
    As of right now, Passage to Darkness already works. Remember that the audio instructions by Moon may not be correct as there are no longer any connected maps and you are alone in Western Akylos. Just as back then, the two main goals are to first destroy all Shrines and then all living Aspects. Fortunately, the Wrath of the Souls is not targeting you.

    You can download the original version of the map in-game. Along with it comes also a modification Emmaerzeh and I created, which makes the scenario a little tougher. In order to play either of those make sure to have only one of the respective .pak files in your map folder at a time.

    I think you do not quite understand honestly, I don't care that there is a reset happening for everything except the cards. No matter what the stuff is going to do, people are still going to achieve all of the cards quite fast and the prices are still gonna be super unstable because there are just not enough players in the game right now. I don't really understand much in the technical part of things, so if there is an absolute need in the restart, let it be, but if there isn't and there is a way to keep the cards, and not start all over again and waste months just to play what you want on a high level then it should be at least considered. The changes are favored for people who just play super casually and not invest too much into the game, but shitts really hard on the ones that do invest a lot of time in it both PvP and PvE wise.

    Its true what Lebo was saying - to test some new things out it would be sometimes better to have the full map pool available. For me its no fun to test the new BFP-reward system with the starter-maps in standard or advanced mode. Even if i play there a bit  a reset can happen later - progress is gone and i have to do the same on testserver again. We have all the cards - so in consequence it would be also nice to have all the maps. I dont think there is a high risk that we will split the community...may the players that just wait for reset will find some kind of motiviation to play at this place.

    I would appreciate a small bonus after reset for the main player base that was going through the open stress test all the time and worked together with the skylords reborn team even with the knowledge that there will be a reset.
    This could be rated on different values you are already recording for each player (e.g. played matches, time online and so on).
    I hate the players that just wait for the reset and doing nothing helpful - they just flame for the date of the reset and dont see why things need to be tested and adjusted first. Even with just some games per week they could support. After the reset these will be the players that still will not play a lot and will flame about problems they may face with the game or the new market mechanics to earn bfp.
    The Bonus could be a single card or a booster or maybe you could choose one card out of a pool - something like this. There are a lot of options regarding cards, bfp or gold that would be fair and could give some starting motivation for the main player base to start from 0 again and to say thank you for the continoues support. For sure we also have to say thank you to your work and the project itself.

    Thats the way of speedrunning - be efficient as possible and finish the map in the fastest most aggresive and still smart way. I was hoping for some more replays and competition like for older pve community challenges - but community is getting smaller and a lot of players just talk trash here instead of working on some nice tactics. The duration of the challenge was also fair for everybody - there was enough time to work something out. Me and Lebo enjoyed to work out some new tactics for a new map. This map should be later in the official community map pool. Thx for the challenge - we will participate also on future challenges.

    But sadly the Wipe Won’t change this permanently, it is just a one time temporary solution. The gap to new players will always be there and eventually prices skyrocket again. Probably they won’t even go down cause players are just used to put them in for a hell of a lot.

    Anticipated and actual participation... might be similar to what might happen to the player base of this game due to reset  
    Nevertheless it was a nice alternative to the campaign, even tho the usual competitors did not participate or manage to do it
    At the beginning many were enthusiastic about this, but I guess the deadline was too far set in the future.
