There are cliffs in the game and there are walls in it too. Also there are units which can shoot over it. To prevent for exapmle cliff dancing, you have to prevent or remove one of those three facts. This would be impossible for the devs or just unlogical. Surely you could nerf every card that can shoot over cliffs but then those cards would be too weak in ever other situation. I see no way you can "fix" this strategy without breaking other things. I think the best solution is to create more counter to this strategy so every colour have a way to couter it.

T4 is enough I think. There're already nearly impossible to kill units in t4 and you can win every map with t4 so why shell you even need a t5? The only thing I would find usefull is to make just four t5 units, 1 for every pur colour. These units are legendary so they can be alive just 1 time, can't be enlighted and the only way to get 5 orbs is Amii-Monument. It would be pretty hard to get one of those units but they would be as strong as 5 t4 units.

So i doubt that you can watch those very old replays as its very likely that at least 1 card got changed over the years. [/quote] You could still watch it. As long as this change wasn't relevant in this replay it worked without any problems. And at the end of Battleforge there weren't much balancing patches anyway ^^ Ok but I guess a replay from like the first day of Battleforge wouldn't work xD

I wonder if it is possible to watch very old replays when battleforge gets rereleased. I remember there was a program where you can modify old replays so you could watch them even after a patch (BF-Antipatch). But it seems the link on bfcards.info doesn't work anymore...

Hi my name is Philipp. I'm 23 and from Germany. I started playing battleforge a few months after release and played till the very last day of this great game. I've played lots of rPve and PvP, though I was never very hight ranked in PvP cause I mainly try out unique strategies and think about new card combinations. I've played many uniqued strategies in PvP and Pve like Tortuguns with Grim Bahirs Crawler as food, Sacrefice Lost Reaver to Dreadcharger to give him a shield and a dmg buff or Shadow worm with Necrofury and Fallen Skyelf.... My main colours would be pur shadow in PvP and Bandites in Pve. I also was very active in the german Battleforge forum so I hope to see as many old faces as possible in this forum :) When Battleforge went offline, I played a lot of mobas like lol or smite but would quit that anytime for playing Battleforge again ^^

Great job. Looking forward to some replays :)
