    I DID IT! It is now done and I am free for 4 months! So many plans I have it's unbeliavable, but the feeling of waking up and not having to rush for school, then back from school, but rather chill a bit, travel and meet new people, it's awesome. I am sure many of you have experienced it and many of you will. It's a great thing and it means a lot that you were here to cheer me up through the stressful days.

    If anyone wondered how I did, I must say I did better than I myself expected, and honestly, I surprised myself. I am not a stupid person, but a bad student, I really haven't studied much... ever, in school. This graduation was a great deal for me, so I did, for the first time in my life, really study a lot. And I think it paid off. My results were - a B from Czech, and A from computer sciences, a B from maths, a B from jewish studies and an A from English. 

    Thank you for believing in me, have a great day and if you stumble upon a pub with friends, have a drink on good ol' Anon :P<3 

    (also, cheers for @sylvix95 for his supportive thread, it was really great reading that after my first exam yesterday!)

      Congrats :) Good on ya, hope you enjoy travelling around, you've earned it! Just as a side note, why pick jewish studies? Not criticising or anything, just curious, it's not a very common study route.

    I am slowly continuing my work on the thread I created a while ago about transforming BattleForge cards into a Hearthstone card format

    If you have a favourite card of yours that is not yet on the existing list, say it here so perhaps I can prioritize it and then hear your opinions about it.

    1th of April is often filled with jokes, today more likely to be called "pranks" - to justify doing stupid sh*t. 

    Almost every year of my existence, I pulled something stupid off, like hiding important papers or ordering chinese food instead of a birthday cake (don't do the same stupid things).

    However, I would want to hear your best pranks/jokes you came up with, or someone pulled on you.

    Feel free to share details for a good laugh, and enjoy the rest of this day :)

    I need help. For my yearly project, I am making an RPG game - it's not very complex, nothing big, it's just to have SOMETHING done. 

    I am nearly done with all the coding and the time has come to implement graphics - sprites mostly. I am looking for someone to help me create simple pixel art of a small person walking, attacking (with a sword), etc.

    I am willing to pay up to 10$ (I am a poor student, don't hate <3 ). My deadline is in 2 weeks, if noone is up for this, I will either try my best to create something myself, which may end terribly, or just buy one of the official packs online for even less than 10$, I just felt like asking you. If you know of good sprites that would be cheap/for free, it could also help me a lot.

      Well yeah, that's a property of an infinite sequence. Even if you put a random number generator and made it print out numbers forever you'd get that. Pi is not special in that regard. It is special in about a hundred other ways though.

      Pi is not considered as a number that shows anything that may happen in the universe (in french it's called a universe number, nombre univers, I don't know how to translate this). We guess it is, but mathematicians can't prove it, like √2. The number 0.123456789101112131415...... (the Champernowne constant) is a nombre univers and is proved to be.

      Has no direct impact. They just cache the subscriber number, instead of calculating it each time by summing subscribers. So its only visual, they can just fix the bug and update the subcounts.

      ^ has been verified to be only visual, however it was said to be an actual bug after Youtube further investigated into it. We will have to wait and see.

      Bought 6 games (Company of Heroes, Endless Legend, Civ V and Star Wars the Old Republic). Total was 40€, saved 80.

    Just saw the new Star Wars: Rogue One. To avoid spoiling it I will just suggest you all to go see it, I really liked it :) But I am a dedicated long time fan, so no surprise there ^^

      Is it original and does it have any story, not just John Wick style, new-Hollywood-senseless-fighting stuff that we usually get nowadays? I'd really rather not go to a Star Wars VII again (which was a complete ripoff) :(

      In my opinion yes, definitely. It is really action packed as well as a very well told story, that, as you probably know, is located between episodes III and IV (Revenge of the Sith and New Hope). I have heard 90% positive reviews and enjoyed it a lot myself. The music... isn't John Williams, but it's still very good. 

      MINOR MINOR SPOILER AHEAD

      It's quite dark, not a normal cheery happy Star Wars story as some others were... there is really a lot of death and even though the overall message is "HOPE", there is a lot of themes some wouldn't expect in a Star Wars movie. 

      In my opinion, definitely worth the watch

      @Eirias Yeah you can't really say unitedstatesian now can you? The only word from which you can derive a term which describes a person living in the USA is "America" hence most (if not all) languages call Americans as Americans. We do at least (Američani [Americhani]).

      In german Americans from the USA are often referred to as "US-Americans" even though when calling someone an "American" it generally refers to people from the USA also.

      Basically it is used synonymous.

      If this discussion goes on, maybe using US-Americans for people from the US and Americans for people from the continent America is something we can agree to.
