    Frequent (daily) play is already rewarded with the daily boost. You get 250bfp daily if you play one hour while if you don't play  150bfp of it is stored for the next day (to a max of 550). So playing each day let's you earn 100bfp more than someone who skips a day.

    Thank you for writing this proposal, it really helps to see more idea's/opinions about how the reward system could work. I would like to encourage more players to create similar posts.
    As for my personal feedback on your proposal, I will walk through it point by point. As a general remark I think only point 4, 8 and 9 needs to be into account taken together (maybe place them next to eachother), the rest can be threated as separate suggestions.
    1. I heavily disagree with your statement that the market is extremely flooded with cards. Imo there are currently even way too less offers in the market to have stable prices. Some cards dont even have one offer from time to time. Nevertheless I agree that removing the daily booster is necessary for the new system. I would like to have some way to earn boosters though, like in the form of achievements.
    2. I agree to add more achievements. I also would like to encourange you to think about more quests that could be added as daily that are in line with the current ones (2xpve win, 3xpvp, 3x10min, 1xmultiplayer, 2xrpve win, 7xgoldchest) so it would be less of repeating the same thing. There also should be achievements for people with a lower level imo, but I agree that there also should be a focus on challenging people with more experience.
    3. Not really sure if this really adds anything since most of the daily quests already reward you for winning a match each day, but I dont really have problem with it either. Maybe if we have more diversity among daily quests this could be a thing. You are also talking about gold rewards here, lets focus on just the bfp rewards first and talk about gold rewards later (I agree that gold also needs rebalancing).
    4. I like the simplicity and the values seem to be ok on first glance. However this system is still just focussing on daily play. For the new system I really would like players to not feel 'forced' to play every single day to not miss out on a big part of the rewards. So for example I would like to bring closer the rewards you get by playing 7x1hour(each day) or by playing 2x4hours(2 days) for example. I know one of your point 9 is carrying over more daily quests to the next day, but I dont think that is enough and I would encourage you to also add something for it in the time rewards. For example a weekly factor.
    5. Ok, maybe a bit higher reward.
    6. I disagree, most of the quests are already a lot in favor of speedrunners because they have fast victories/runs, no need to compensate that group even more. Besides most maps are even not done in less than 10 minutes by the best speedrunners. Also by changing this the diversity of the already similar quests becomes even smaller and the '3x10minutes' quest would just become the same as playing the first 30 minutes of the time-based-reward of point 4.
    Btw, the current 'win 2xpve' quest doesnt have a time condition so is already in favor of speedrunners, so why do you propose to add it to this one (and not to the RPVE one)?
    7. Ok. I think the only quest that is not transparant/clear is the quest that says 'play 3 games'. So would changing that one to 'Play 3 games of at least 10 minutes each' be enough for changing the descriptions?
    8. See point 4 for my feedback. Afaik the reroll is already limited to once per day.

    10. This just seems like an extra achievement to me, but ok. I was thinking about (also) rewarding beginners with extra charges for the starting deck after first few games.
    11. This should be considered when talking about rebalancing gold. Not sure if there are players really interested in this though. Also note that gold and bfp have been separate currencies on purpose (https://forum.skylords.eu/index.php?/topic/1275-current-proposal-tokens-gold/).
    12. I agree to add more ways to spend gold, but I strongly disagree with this proposal. Like I stated in point 1 there are not many auctions for certain cards already, this will only lower it. I would be willing to consider something similar if it would be the buyer that would have to pay a gold 'fee' (to the server) for each card he buys instead of the seller, but I'd rather leave the auction house out of it. So I would like to promote using the auction house more, not demote. And of course the gold rewards should be balanced. 
    13. Not sure on what you want to base the gold cost exactly, but I dont think trading should be demoted either.
    14. Ok, only not sure about the last option yet. I would also add a gold fee for this btw, it would be a lot better gold sink than point 12 and 13 imo.

    Hello there,
    currently, the old 12-player scenarios Ascension and Passage to Darkness are disabled due to synchronization problems. In fact, these 12 player scenarios were not actually maps with 12 players but each just three connected four-player maps. I will try to make independent four-player scenarios out of them, thus create 3 individual maps out of Ascension + 1 out of Passage to Darkness.
    As of right now, Passage to Darkness already works. Remember that the audio instructions by Moon may not be correct as there are no longer any connected maps and you are alone in Western Akylos. Just as back then, the two main goals are to first destroy all Shrines and then all living Aspects. Fortunately, the Wrath of the Souls is not targeting you.

    You can download the original version of the map in-game. Along with it comes also a modification Emmaerzeh and I created, which makes the scenario a little tougher. In order to play either of those make sure to have only one of the respective .pak files in your map folder at a time.

    This assumption is wrong, just after the wipe most prices will be a lot lower than they are now, even promos or popular ultra rares. It was like that just after that start of the open stress test and it will be after the wipe. The thing is that nobody will have much bfp/cards in the first couple of weeks, so if you have a popular ultra rare but you rather sell it to buy other cards that are more usefull for your first deck, you will have to sell it for something that any other player can afford else you wont sell it at all. After more bfp/cards gets in the game over time, prices of popular cards will slowly go up until they become more stable and like they are now (depending on if there are enough active players/traders). 
    Over which period of time was this data taken? If it was since the start of open stress test, could you take the average and median price over the last 6 months please?

    This is a voluntary project, no one is getting paid. When did you volunteer for something for years?
    You thank us and are grateful in start of the post, just to throw random accusations and bashes with no provided facts in the rest.
    We all are amateur students/developers, so I don't know which level of Triple A company organization you expect. Most of us aren't even near 30.
    Performance of our code is widely affected by the core game, made by EA and reverse engineered by us for years. Not all bugs will be fixable as there are limits to what can be done when you don't have the source code.
    No progress being done, yet the server restarts for the updates every now and then. Just because there is no changelog, doesn't mean no work is being done.
    Just because you got handled in a certain way by a moderator (who I'm sure did nothing wrong), it does not give you right to render us all "unprofessional it's just sad".
    Everyone has a right to give their opinion on card balancing, whether they have 50 hours or 50000 hours of gameplay. Just like you gave your opinion, they have the right to give theirs.
    Don't think we didn't look for new developers elsewhere, yes we did but guess what - so far no one is willing to invest themselves for free or they got near acception phase but just ghosted, meaning they were probably in for the code. It isn't as easy to recruit trusted and skilled developer, but I guess you know better than us doing this for almost 5 years straight.
    Balancing of the game hasn't even had it's surface scratched, yet you're caps-locking that we will fudge up the game beyond recognition.
    No, the player base won't be even smaller after the wipe, it will be few times bigger.

    Flame TD (pron: F@#! lame TD) is an economy driven, player versus player, tower defense map. Two teams play against one another in an attempt to decrease the opponent's lives to 0. Players will have to balance offence and defense to grow their economy, and ultimately overpower their opponent. Fog of war is enabled, to hide your defense strategy from your opponent.
    How to Play:
    1. Move the unit that represents the faction you choose into the magic aura.

    2. Use the teleport activators to select and send creeps to your opponent.

    3. Build a Maze(ing) towers

    Mechanics:
    Lives - Each team is allocated with 30 lives. For every "Creep" that you successfully get to the "Goal" area, one life is lost by the opponent. Strategies may vary, from saving up to send overpowered (and more costly) units, to spamming large numbers of cheap units. Income - Forget wells, income is a reward system which provides players with power every 30 seconds. Starting at 0, income is increased by a small amount every time you send a unit to your opponent. The more units you send, the larger your income will be. Kill Reward - Whenever you successfully kill a creep, a portion of its power cost is given to the attacker. Tower Defense - Players will have to reserve some power to build towers. Team strategies may be used to find synergies between the different factions. In addition to overpowered towers, players can build complicated pathways to force units along a preferred route. This will allow your towers multiple opportunities to attack creeps, making them even more efficient. Factions - Each faction will provide the player with orbs per the table below: Fire:          Frost:         Shadow:     Nature:       Stonekin:    Lost Souls:  Bandit:       Twilight:     The Laundry List:

    Hello fellow Skylords,
    Check out the new awesome map "Into the Jungle1" !!! The map and scripts have been created by "Emmaerzeh", "Kyriel" and "Perendi". Special thanks to all those who helped in testing and translating.

     Description:

    It is a 2 player PvE map set in jungle scenery. Various enemies of the nature faction have to be defeated on your way to the ultimate boss: The King of the Forest Elders. He has blessed some of his nature creatures with a magical aura that prevents your ranged attacks. If marked camps are not destroyed within respective time limits, he will summon swarms of flying units to attack you.
     
    Card Restrictions:
    To ensure diversity and encourage new strategies, some cards are not allowed on the map:
    -Amii Monument
    -Enlightenment
    -Mark of the Keeper
    -Wheel of Gifts
    -Nightguard (both affinities)
    Using any of these cards in-game results in a default loss.
     
    Competition:
    To further promote the map, it will revive and continue the old tradition of community challenges.
    -Competition period: 01 November 2019 – 31 December 2019
    -Prices will be given out at 02 January 2020
     
    Prices:
    -Fastest 2 player run:              3000 BFP (1500 each)
    -Second fastest 2 player run:   2000 BFP (1000 each)
    -Third fastest 2 player run:      1000 BFP (500 each)
     
    -Fastest 1 player run:              1500 BFP
    -Second fastest 1 player run:   1000 BFP
    -Third fastest 1 player run:       500 BFP
     
    Besides the speedrun category, there will also be prices for creative/ stylish attempts. The determination of the winner of this contest is subject to my discretion.
    -Most creative or most stylish 2 player attempt : 3000 BFP  (1500 each)
    -Second most creative or most stylish 2 player attempt : 2000 BFP  (1000 each)
    -Third most creative or most stylish 2 player attempt : 1000 BFP  (500 each)

    Additional Rules:
    -The competition uses the map version "IntoTheJungle1.pak".
    -The map has to be played on expert difficulty.
    -It is not allowed to share monuments in any way in a 2 player run, this means at the given camps 1 of the monuments is for each player, including tier 1 starting orbs.
    -This rule does not apply for 1 player runs in which you are allowed to take available orbs freely.
    -For 2 player runs each team is allowed to submit 2 replays, 1 for speedrun, 1 for style run category.
    -Everyone may additionally participate with a 1 player speedrun replay.
    -Players can only be part of one team for their submission, hence if "Player A" submits a replay with "Player B", he cannot also submit a replay with "Player C".
     
    In order not to limit the speedrun prize pool to possibly only a few traditional players, each player can only receive 1 prize.
    -If successfully participating in multiple categories one will only receive the highest prize money earned.
    -The priority for which category the prize money will be received if you win multiple prizes of the same value is: 2 player speedrun, 2player style run and 1 player speedrun lastly .
    -The prize money for other runs will instead be given to the next best player/team along the ranking, replacing their original reward and shifting all other prizes one rank down.
    -The position in the ranking will not be affected by this.
    -All winning replays will later be published and attached to this post and a selection of the best will be uploaded to YouTube with explanatory commentary by RadicalX.
     
    Participation Guidelines:
    -To participate, you may not violate any of the rules above. This will be verified by me.
    -Make your final replay (file format is .pmv) available to me via Discord before 01 January 2020 UTC+1 and indicate whether it is a stylerun or speedrun. My Discord name is Emmaerzeh#0240. You can also find me on the official Skylords Reborn Discord Server.
    -You can update your replay submission during the time of the competition any number of times.
    -It is not allowed to pressure the event organizer or other participants to publish tips or replays.
     
    Known Bugs:
    -The Burrower and Swamp Drakes show wrong names if you click on them (that is a mistake in the editor which cannot be changed).
    -Replays of community maps sometimes do not show up in the game Replay viewing selection. This issue has been reported to the developers. A workaround is to open another lobby of a Community Map first and then go to the Replay viewing selection again. Or try close the game, copy the replay to another place, rename it and copy it back to the replay folder. If the replay there shows the gear as an indicator of being broken or outdated, try again later and make sure you have the "IntoTheJungle1.pak" file in your C:\Users\<username>\Documents\BattleForge\map folder. (Auto)saved replays can be found alongside the same path in the folder […]\replays.
    -If you find any other bugs, report them to me.

    These are the best currently submitted speedrun times. Styleruns will be determined at the end of the challenge. To foster competition early on it is more fun if you tell your best time right away and do not wait until the last second. Of course, both ways are allowed.

    Hey guys,
    im working on a new map. Im trying to do a storymap a little bit EA-like.
    In this map you have to rescue Rogan Kayle who get inprisioned by the Bandits. The Twilight is attacking the Bandits so you are under pressure.
    The map already contains the 3 different diffuculty levels. I tried to implement stuff i liked from other story maps like the cannons from Bad Harvest/GoL, the Amii-Doors from Sunbridge or the fact that the twilight is attacking something and you do not intervene directly.
     
    The map isnt finished yet because I just have time at weekend to work at and the balancing alone is pretty hard.
    I would like to see you guys playing my map and what ideas you have / what could I change / etc.

    Howdy y'all,
     
    As you may or may not know, I've made most of the videos on the largest BattleForge YouTube channel: The BattleForge Creator's Guild. I also made some promises a long time ago about how this was going to change and we were going to upload a lot of videos.
    And then I disappeared for 8 months and the channel went dead.
     
    Sorry about that, and for now I'm not going to promise anything. Real life schedules are unpredictable. I might make a video on my personal channel about what happened. Or maybe not.
    However, I really want to feature other creators on this channel. That's what it's about: for all creators.
     
    So for anyone who streams or records their own gameplay, gameplay of others, discussion videos, or really anything: please let me know if you are interested in contributing to the channel.     Hey everyone,

    I decided to continue my thread from the original Battleforge forums, where i shared all my solo rPvE replays with the community - thanks to @Kybaka for picking this up again last month.
    You can expect regular updates at the beginning of each month for the month that just passed. I will upload most replays throughout the month whenever I get a halfway decent time on these maps. Exception being maps where an alltime speedrun record is possible - those will be uploaded at the end of the month. Cleanliness of play in the replays can greatly differ due to time investment. You can at least expect a top 3 finish for the respective month for each of these replays though.
    If i play Motm level 9 maps solo, they will be updated throughout the month as I am doing those just for the sake of it.

    Please note that older replays will not work due to the game being patched now. If all cards in the replay are unchanged you can fix it with the Replay Fixer Tool that can be found on the forums. If cards are changed, replays are at least as of right now not watcheable anymore - not sure if a backward compability will ever be introduced.
    If you want to cast any of these videos, feel free to do so.
