    I was thinking of a 1vs1 custom map in which player A plays normally while player B is not allowed to spawn units and buildings, but could only use spells. However player B is helped by PvE units that spawn from buildings in intervals and attack player A. The PvE enemy also has camps with defenses. Player A wins when all PvE camps are destroyed while player B wins when player A is killed or the time runs out.
    So basically it is a PvE map for player A, but the PvE enemy is helped by a real player (maybe he should be able to micro the spawned units as well). 
    Any map creator who wants to give a shot at this idea?
    I think it should be possible to let player B not spawn any units or buildings by setting his starting monument + power wells (and extra monuments and wells to take) on an island with high mountains in between the rest of the map (so flying units cant fly over). The rest is basically a normal pve map, so maybe an existing PvE map could be used as a base to test if this idea is really as cool as it seems to me. If it turns out to be great it could also be done as a 2vs1 map (with better pve units) or as a 2vs2 map I guess.

    It's coming, the day we have all been waiting for
    Amazing seeing the progress in the last months. Thougt it would take a lot of time after loosing Kubik, for working into what he did and maybe slowing down because one that took big effort and time into it is never easy to replace... but the opposite happend. You worked fast into it, didn't go low on morale and pushed on, even faster and better. Got a lot of respect for that. Strange sometimes how some negative looking events can do a positive effect sometimes
    Now i wait this little time left, beeing excited and gratefull that i will see this day. Thank you so much for the great news.

    We would suppose also to add new rankings for the 12P-Maps. We want to avoid unnecessary cluttering of the 12P rankings. Thats why we would suppose the following classification of the rankings:
     
    1) Passage to Darkness
    Due to the fact that all three maps are nearly  the same we suppose the following categories to keep the overview:
    3/12 = "1/4" on a single map
    6/12 = "2/4" on a single map
    9/12 = "3/4" on a single map
     
    2) Ascension
    4/12 to 9/12 like above. 4/12 because based on our current experiences it may be not possible to finish the map ascension with just 3 players or we were just unlucky until now ;-).
     
    4/12 = "1/4" - on two single maps one player and two players on the other map
    6/12 = "2/4" on a single map
    9/12 = "3/4" on a single map
     
    For a makeable approach to track the rankings the devs also need to apply filter options for the 12P maps ingame. @Zyna@Ladadoos
     
    What do you think about our approach speedruners? Do you want to have deeper classification?

    The Award Ceremony is here. I watched more than 100 matches, so things were kind of hard to decide. Alot of replays will be cast on my channel at some point in time, since there were alot of great matchups! Thanks for making this tournament great an I hope to announce another one at some point (can't really tell a date though, might take some months). But let's get to the awards:

    Idea is simple - somehow give all cards with U3 upgrades, but only for ranked PvP. 
    This will definetely lead us to bigger activity in PvP and also game will become more attractive for player from other RTS games, where in PvP matches you usually have access to every unit from the start. These new people will help us to keep game and community alive.
    I know at least one SC2 player with good youtube audience who had an idea to play in BF PvP until he realized that even for PvP he should collect and upgrade so many cards... If he would start to play we could have more players from his youtube channel, and also it will be easier for newcommers from other RTS enjoy Battleforge and many other cases like this.
    For unranked PvP, cPvE and rPvE you will still have to collect cards and enjoy collection.

    btw. I've got more than 100 replays already, thank you guys! I will try to upload some of them on youtube & announce the award winners as soon as possible, might take a little bit of time though because of these high numbers.

    You can join RadicalX twich stream to communicate with other participants of the tournament. However it should be enough to just show up ingame at 2PM CEST. 
    Btw, the bracket will mix up once the tournament starts, so you will most likely face a different first opponent.

    I feel you. In pvp Fire/Shadow had the exact same problem with decks slots and it always felt like you were playing with only haf a deck. You miss out on powerful cards of pure faction and end up with a compromise, that forces you to patch your holes with additional cards.
    If I understand you correctly you want a mechanic that essentially gives you T3 monster cards for free. Given the slot pressure, that's not unreasonable. However, I don't think this is a "be-all end-all" change. With this ability, we first must have valid Twilight units to begin with.
    Realistically, the only T2 Twilight cards you play in pvp are Brute + Vileblood, of which both are mediocre. Vileblood could morph into Mutating Maniac and Twilight Brute into... Twilight Creeper? The target card for evolved Twilight units seems rather arbitrary to me. But admittedly, this is better than nothing.
    The proposed alternative is that units "level up", as you reach a new tier. But here I see the the big problem with player expectation and game readability. A "T3 Vileblood" must be visually distinct from a "T2 Vileblood", this is a must (I am speaking from experience). Otherwise you can confuse your opponents with mixing T2 and T3 Vilebloods and expect them to make a bad choice, this is just toxic. You are also introducing a whole range of new de-factor cards that need to be balance and tested, which isn't trivial.
    Now, this doesn't mean that we shouldn't explore this but in terms of deck building, I can't help but feel like using duct tape, rather than having a diverse deck. And again, this make the assumption that all of the Twilight Cards are worth using.
    To me, it is clear that the first step must be to make the Twilight Cards viable. I have reservations against "Twilight Evolution", but I'm not fully opposed to it. However, I think with this proposal we get ahead of ourselves. The first step must be to fix the Twilight Cards, there is no way around this.
    And I don't think the current "Twilight Transformation" is completely unsavable either. You are right about its issues, can't we fix those issues for the mean time? Just give transformed units full health and not make them use a charge. That alone could make it a good ability to have.
    On another note: You mention "players using Deathglider instead of hurricane" -> Why don't we just buff Death Glider instead? Death Glider has essentially the stats of Mana Wing and might be the worst unit in the game. A flying S-counter with S-knockback could be a powerful tool in F/N. I don't care how strong a "T3 Evolved Deathglider" would be, I want it to be good in T2.
    Back on the topic of deck slots: I think the deck-slot problem would be mitigated a great deal with more Twilight cards were like Gladiatrix. She's anti-L, she's anti-air and provides a slot-free Disenchant. If the Twilight Cards were multi-purpose oriented we would effectively mitigate the problem with free deck slots. In the Discord the idea has been raised to make Twilight Hag a T2 unit, I think she would be a perfect candidate.
    Now, with good Twilight units making up for the shortcumings of F/N you might not even need to change Twilight Transformation and we could play around transformation abilities. Imagine Twilight Minions costing 50e: Suddenly, you have a cheap way of increasing the damage output of your Twilight Units. I know it costs a deckslot, but I think this is a fascinating facet of the faction that shouldn't be discarded.
    In general, I think more abilities should trigger if Twilight Units transformed. E.g. if Nightshade plant triggered its effect on transformation, it would be an interesting unit for mass-CC.
    But again, I am not completely opposed to Twilight Evolution, I think this can only be a "second step" in making Fire/Nature better. And the Evolution should be very well thought out and designed. For example, a unit should only be able to use Twilight Evolution once. Otherwise a Twilight T2 card is effectively 3 cards (T2, T3 and T4 version), which is unfair towards other decks.
    But first things first :-)

    Edit: One thing I'm not keen on is forgoing orb restrictions. We should be making Twilight better instead of giving it more access to cards like Frenetic Assault. With Enlightenment and Amii Monument, there are already ways to ignore certain restrictions and I think adding more ways is hurting the game more than it helps.

    You can change the resoltion in 'C:\Users\[user]\Documents\BattleForge\config.xml'. screenheight and screenwidth parameters, for example: screenheight="1080" screenwidth="1920".

    As a statistics nerd I feel there is a need for more statistics for things in the game. There are some good things already now on PvP, PvE and stuff about the cards you own, but there are a few things I miss. From what I can see there should be some room on these two tabs under Profile for quite a lot of rows of text:

    So, I want to suggest the following statistics to be added if available, somewhere in the tabs above, for each players own statistics:
    - Number of matches that have been played in total.
    - Number of matches that have been played for 1p, 2p and 4p rPvE maps (percentage on matches won is already there so then you can calculate yourself..).
    - Number of matches that have been played for 1p, 2p and 4p PvE campaign maps. (I guess data for individual campaign maps could be a bit difficult to add as it would mean like 25 rows..) 
    - Number of hours in game and in matches.
    - Number of BFPs earned by quests.
    - Number of BFPs earned by selling cards on the Market Place. (If possible the number of BFPs that have switched ownership on Direct Trade)
    - Number of boosters opened.
    - Number of cards sold on the Market Place. (If possible the number of cards that have switched ownership on Direct Trade)
    - Number of cards sold on Market Place by rarity, eg. how many commons, how many uncommons, etc.
    - Number of cards you have bought on Market Place by rarity, eg. same as above...
    These are the ones I can think of right now. I am not sure what this would mean for the load on the database but I guess information like this can be indexed in a good way and that it doesn't stress the environment too much.

    I think you have misunderstood things, it is not you who decide what is offensive or not, it is the receiver of what you want your name to mean, this is the same for any statement or whatever you want to make. Perhaps your name is not overly offensive, but I assume your intention was to do something funny(?) here by having a name that means big boobs/breasts/funbags or whatever you want to call them and there are a lot (at least some) girls and women on this server. So, to respect them get over it and select a better name for the future.

    Actually that is not true anymore (since last patch), the server calculates the bfp gain/reserve each minute now during matches. Nevertheless thanks for proposing your own system, will look into it.
