    Hey Ultrakool,
This would be very generous of you, and I would gladly do that! Since there were 22 participants and out of those 4 got a prize and 2 players did not show up at all this would be...1600 BFP in total I guess?

Also thank you everyone for participating, there will be another rookie tournament in the future for sure!
Also congratulations to felkin for taking this tournament.

    Greetings,

Just a random comment - nice to see that someone is organizing the tourneys with rewards so early at this project stage. I hope we'll be able to do the same with official tourneys in future, but community ones are very interesting (from the past ones I've seen).

    Hey felkin,
sorry for not answering you that fast. There're lots of other things going on right now. I checked the log you provided and saw this line which has also been mentioned in this thread:

[INFO][NETWORK]: Timed out sending a Network Message with Interface World, Message GetFriendListRMC

I checked your friends list in the database and saw, that you have 201 friends added to it. I swapped all friends to a dummy user right now. Please try to log in again and see if you can reach the forge without disconnecting. If you can, we probably have a problem with too many friends in the list.

Let me know if you could connect again and maybe also play a game or whatever. Please don't add any friends to your friends list for now.

If you can login without any problems, I will swap your friends back to your account. So we can check if the error occurs again. If yes, we identified the problem and need to fix this.

Show the whole deck I guess, but from my experience most of those cards that you show above ain't grand. They all require a very specific deck to synergize and even then can be countered with most other decks.
As much as I love Wrathgazer, it is a shit card in PvP, Nox Carrier works in some scenarios if you have the deck to back it up, same with Skyelf and Satanael (but I don't really think it would work on higher level PvP). Shadow Insect - never seen that in PvP. Mutating Frenzy can be strong, again, if you can back it up with spells
  16. MrDanilov liked a post in a topic by RadicalX in Pure shadow pvp
Shadow Insect is a possibility, but requires high micro and a low ping. Otherwise the clunky ability + lag will be quite a pain. I had way more success in the CBT phase with it than right now.
Fallen Skyelf combos well with Shadow Insect as you can burst down L units like Virtuosu with its ability. So either pick both or none of them as consistent dps suffers from cc as a hardcounter to this card. Shadow has pretty great Anti Air anyways so it's not like Fallen Skyelf is essential in other areas.
Satanael can be very strong, but requires alot of buffs to be played around. You need Blood Healing to make him work with his ability (since you do have Unholy Power already, a pickup could be a good idea)
Nox Carrier is bad. Either needs Portal Nexus to work or will never reach your power well.
Mutating Frenzy has a  bad stat cost efficency and too many stacks will result in a quick death.
Wrathgazer needs Altar of Nihil to be viable. This way you could avoid any crowd control as a hard counter.
I don't think there is a stronger T3 combo in the game right now than Nihil + Voidstorm as it could not just kill everything of your opponent but lead up to 400+ permanent advantages in one second. Makes pure Shadow from one of the weaker T3s to reaching Timeless One level (In 2v2 it is the strongest T3 you can play if you can coordinate plays with your teammate).

  17. MrDanilov liked a post in a topic by Eirias in Global Warming in Pure Fire to counter Pure Frost?
As others have said, don't drop the mortar if you want an extended t1. Virtuoso is a common pick for the 3rd t3 unit, but imo it's not really needed.
If you're worried about the pure frost matchup, another thing you can try is magma hurlers or magma spores. These are pretty weak cards, but also a bit undervalued.
When I carried either of those 2 cards (in fire nature, where they are a bit better because of t2 cc), if I was in a losing state vs pure frost I could usually go for a super early t3. I might lose a well or two, but magma hurlers really wreck war eagles. It's common for pure frost to have a large standing army, which means that you have a gap of desperation when sacrificing wells for t3 can work. A few magma hurlers take out the war eagles, and when frost goes t3 you'll probably have enough power to jugger.
  18. MrDanilov liked a post in a topic by xHighTech in Global Warming in Pure Fire to counter Pure Frost?
Global warming is the best optional card if you KNOW that you play against pure frost. It makes the matchup much easier and makes the opponents desperate.. There is no single reason to not use it.
Otherwise in ranked its a useless & dead card slot if there is no pure frost meta.
  19. MrDanilov liked a post in a topic by LagOps in Global Warming in Pure Fire to counter Pure Frost?
I am one of the players who prefers to pick optional cards to alleviate weaknesses in my deck instead of making allready quite winnable matchups easier. pure frost and fire-frost are tough for pure fire, propably the hardest matchups for fire and so i would suggest playing global warming. pure fire usually doesn't have many issues with deckslots and i see large t1s in this deck quite a lot. should be possible to fit global warming in there somehow.
