  1. I know 30 is just a number, but that would mean any units spawned woulf be up to 29.9 seconds without the buff. Which seems to me like quite significant time.

  3. Did you put the archive to the location you selected? Did you used the blue text "Download archive from web"?
  4. There is an setting for Field of View (FOV), I do not think that in the video cammera is zoomed further than usual, just FOV is much higher, giving the impression, that it is much higher. But you can force it to stupid values by editing the config:
  5. my guess is EA did not expect anything further than 100m from camera to be reasonably visible to select. I do not know if there is a way to tell exact distance of something from camera. To me it does not seem possible to get edge of the 4k screen with default FOV and camera distance to be too far, but these settings are changeable.

In MTG I never loast any cards after a tounament, that idea seems really stupid, would the even runner keep the cards to sell them later, or would it be mandatory for them to have shreadder ready, to destroy the cards? To me the idea of temporary cards seems stupid. And deactivating the promos would mean creating new booster, and maintaining the content of yet another booster to be up to date with newly released cards. And I think you misunderstood me they would not leave because they would play with a promo, but because the card would be taken from them, it doesn need to be a promo. I can not imagine anyone being interested in game, that takes things from them for no reason.
  7. How often do you think people will be able to pay for that many boosters? The more boosters, the more expensive it would be to play souch mode, and the less likely it would be someone would actually play it. So it would be much less accesible than all the currrent game modes combined. The original reference was to MTG, where similar game "mode" exist, where you pay for these boosters. If it would be given 20 boosters FOR FREE, many would play it, just to get these boosters, instantly loose, just to be able to get another 20 boosters as soon as possible, resulting in people getting 1000s boosters per day. If the cards would be deleted, it seems like a total waste, and can easily imagine someone getting promo, and after loosing it quiting the game.
  8. Why you assume 9 boosters, and 10 card rerolls (assuming that means replace card with a random other card of same rarity) is enough to have playable deck? I just tried https://skylords-reborn.fandom.com/wiki/Booster_Packs?so=search to get 10 boosters, and my options for T1 was: Executor, Nox Trooper, Soul Splicer, Life Weaving, Baner of Glory, Makeshift Tower, Eription, Mine, 2x Imperials, Glaciation, NO NATURE T1 in 10 boosters These 10 boosters (one more over your sugestion instead of reroll) would be 4050 (minus some discount for tournament or more expensive to compensate for the possible rewards?), which would be big investment for many people. Now lets analyze chances of winning based on prefered T1: NATURE: There is no chance of winning because I would not be able to play anything FIRE: There would be no chance of winning, if oponent would have T1 unit, otherwise, it would be 30 minutes long match of trying to spend as much power as possible (to win by PvP score). FROST: First faction, where we can consider a squad, but slow one, so if oponent would have ranged squad, or damaging spell, I would stand no chance again. SHADOW: 2 squads, building and a spell, but I have no idea what either of them does, so I would be forced to pick the least fun faction, to have any chance of winning, and that would still not guarantee oponent would not have much better draw. So where do you see any fun in loosing ~4000 and not being able to play?
  9. That is 100% wrong. If you have such big plans for the game, and "co-run" a GameDev studio, why don't you buy BattleForge from EA, and do not implement all these ideas, when it will be your game?
  10. PvP have free cards, so that explanation does not apply. Draft is much more about skill and knowledge, than normal play. Because during normal play people play cards they understood, while in draft they are forced to play cards they never seen before. "After all these resets" 🤔 How many resets? What resets are you talking about? Why 10 months? There was people that collected 100% of cards 4 times (for charges) in under a month. And you still did not explain why any PvP should be more interesting that PvE, but in your last message you said that PvP is more energy consuming than PvE, which means it is less interesting than PvE.
  11. Changing probabilities in boosters would have the very negative effect, that people would have even more useless cards they do not want, and less cards they want.
  12. In MTG draft formats I seen you could not create deck that would be unplayable, because with some long forgotten exceptions every card is playable. Some require less many than others. But practically it is very likely that you will have a card that requires 3 mana or less in your deck. In comparison Battleforge have no guarantee that you will get card that requires only one orb. Orb and mana are not equivalent. In MTG if you draft badly and have most cards cost more than 4 mana, you might consider adding more lands to have higher chance of having enough mana to play. But in BF if you will not have Squad requiering exactly 1 orb you can not play (very theoretically you can play with a building, but you would be too slow). And side note in MTG draft 5 color deck might be just fine.   13. Skylords Reborn is not a game, it is only a name of project, that is about game BattleForge. Magic: The Gathering Arena do not support my phone, and the steam version have quite bad reviews. What if you would drafted cards, that would not allow you to play anything, that sounds like really terrible experience, lose every match, because you will not be able to play any of the cards. I think no one from the teams works in game developlment industry, but if you think it is so relevant, why you not join the team and not implement it yourself?
  14. I never played official MTG tournament organized by Wizards of the Coast, I do not know if they ever have one in my country. But I want to point out that BattleForge, and MTG (the original game) are TCG (Trading Card Games), so anyone can organize such tournament. MTG Arena is CCG (Card Collecting Game) so people are not able to organize any such tournament there, because the designers of the games did not alowed them to. And BattleForge it property of EA (Electronic Arts) so if you want an official tournament, you will be probably waiting forever, because EA is not interested in BF right now, and no one know if they will ever be.
  15. I do not know if MTG officially have such mode, but when I played it, each group have the rules slightly different, so I repeat my question, what prevents you from playing such mode?
  16. What is preventing you from buying N boosters, and building a deck only from what you get in those boosters?
  17. Decrease FOV and it will work just fine. Few examples: camera angle 89 (because 90 crashes, but numbers bigger work again 😄 ) camera height 107 and I can target this one, but not the others, bacause he is further away from the camera. And I can not target the beests, because they are not high enough. My guess is that you can only target in spherical radius of ~100m around the camera.

Never played Star Craft 2 (assuming it is SC2 😛 ) Second option would be to make all squad cards spell, do most of the same changes as mentioned before, and the spell would spawn 6 squads of 1 unit, instead of 1 squad of 6 units. Which would again have significant implications on the balance of the game, and the experience, because you would not see health, or damage on spell cards, you spells returns 100% of the cost to the void power. But the problem with abilities would be exactly the same. Spart from not solving the issue, the game would turn to slideshow for many players with such restriction. It always refers to a squad, so after such change it would be a squad with one unit. I do not think that is possible. No change needed there, each unit in squad have its own health.

  21. How hard it would be to code? I have no idea, because we do not have source code of the game. But there is already an config for action priorities, that can be easily changed.combatvalues.xml (MeleeAttackerFreeSlot was already changed, but the change is not in a file) To me it seems, that it is configured to generaly prioritize attacking over moving. If you would want to play with these values, please check out: Changing all squads to have only 1 unit, and cards to cost 6 (4) times less and increase charges by same amount, would be probably not too hard to do, but you would end up with cards that cost for example 11.6666 power, and are quite OP, because sqads with abilities would be able to use these abilities 6 times more often. You would also be able to have less units on map in total, because of population limit 120. And last but not least I am sure some players would no longer be able to run the game, because it would be so much more demanding, and they have quite a weak CPUs. I would be also interested what pro players think, because I hea a lot about micro management.
