Love it! My favourite is the equestrian nerf - made me kill my own perfectly fine units for years when they were attacked and i had no disenchant.

It's only 15%, war eagles will destroy them... vs the other frost splashes they might do slightly better than scythes i guess.

Edit: I change my mind, the ,,search in marketplace'' is new best friend now!
  2. Metagross31 liked a post in a topic by Weak1ings in Is Auction House is missing a feature ?
As of ~6:00 UTC, about 2.6% of all listings had auctions. This sounds like the auction feature is pretty much dead!

    1. What do you think about the fact that the auction house, has no auctions in it?
I think it's a lot less fun to try to interact with AH when auctions are missing, perhaps the option to not do a bid has removed an important gameplay aspect to the auction house.
(not that the reversal of this would change most people from just setting the bid 1 bfp below the buyout, including myself)

    2. What if all postings were required to have bids like they previously did in the past?
I think this would improve the buyer's experience and give everyone the possibility of getting a slightly cheaper card and just have fun with bids. Additionally, this is a good learning tool for the younger players as this is a full market. I know I fondly remember ah back when I was a youngster being wowed by this open market!

    Thanks!

When you enter the cavern, overwhelming noise disappears, leaving only howling wind, allowing you to thought over your situation. You are shivering. You expected Frost part of Forge to be cold, but having to go through Maelstrom to get there was a bit too much. What they were thinking off?
Anyway, the cave. It is completely frozen, yet floor is not slippery. As you walk down the corridor, you notice that walls are gently shining, giving just enough blue light to continue the journey. After a while you reach large chamber. There are two people facing formation of crystals under one of walls, something what you think could be a table, and many passages deeper into the cave. Walls are covered by numerous maps, banners and crystals. As you approach, one person turns around and you recognise him as your friend Wazhai, who told you about this place. He comes to greet you, while the other person stays still.
Wazhai: Ah, you made it. It wasn’t that bad, was it? I hope you enjoyed your journey. Now officially, welcome to Order of the Battleships.
You: It’s a pleasure. I see this place isn’t too crowded.
Wazhai: It’s not that bad. We’re mostly active at nights, when Sun is gone.
Your friend turns to the person in blue robe.
Wazhai: He is the person I told you about.
Dallarian: A new disciple? Excellent. Wazhai, please show him Moonlight Chamber. Prepare Skylord, there are many challenges awaiting.
The person you suspect to be The Old God of Battleships himself, does not turn toward you until you leave the room.

Wazhai: Good. Now you know which way sword should be pointing at. Become familiar with those basic creatures, structures and magic. They are weak yet important, since they are base for your missions. Do not underestimate their importance. We closely cooperate with humans of Lyr and they help us out of their free will, so at least appear to be respecting them. You will need this Frost Shard, take it. It helps manifest Frost Magic outside the Forge, should be useful to you.
The moment you touched the shard, you felt connection formed between you and it. Now, you feel pathway to Frost energies deep within your body.

Weakl1ngs: It’s time to introduce you into more advanced options Frost has. There are many interesting creatures and spells you could use at your advantage. And I will teach you to use Coldsnap. For some reason many Skylords like this part the most.
    Tier 2 cards[2]

Weakl1ngs: While War Eagle is a great option, it is not the only valid one. Personally I prefer Mountaineer and White Rangers. Review closely creatures I’ve shown you, there are a few interesting you may use.

Uro: Now you are allowed to use very powerful creatures, blah blah blah. This is the boring part. The only thing you actually need to know, is if your Avatars are facing enemy. That’s it. But I have to explain you in details anyway… ehh…

Uro: Do you remember when I told you to use Avatars? There isn’t a lot of philosophy in it. Try Core Dredges if you want some fun.

Yshia: You have grown stronger and stronger in past months. Finally, you are worthy to see our most powerful magic and best creatures, including the famous Battleship. Learn carefully, and you will have suitable tools to change fate of the world.
    Tier 4 cards

Yshia: After this part you will know everything you need to proceed as a true Frost Skylord. Brace yourself, for today your training is coming to the end. I am proud I could guide you on your last steps. It was a pleasure.
    T4 chosen strategies

Dallarian: You have completed your training. There is one last aspect. You must now choose your path as a Skylord. Which one will you follow?
    Path of Wind
You are like arctic wind, frosty and piercing through your foes. If you are a Skylord in the very meaning of the word. If your armies are free and up in sky, including War Eagles, Northland Drakes and Battleship, the path is for you to take.
    Path of Shield
No troops under your command fear death, for you are their angel, protecting them from all harm. Whether it’s Ice Guardian, Area Ice Shield, Ward of the North or Dreadnought, your armies are always safe while crushing your opponents.
    Path of Crystal
The only who will need protection, is your foe, for your creatures are most durable beings in the whole Nyn. If your army consist of high durable units, like Lightblades, Tremors and Ironclads, none shall shatter your armor.
    Path of Aurora
Both your past and future are a mystery to me. I will observe your career with a great interest. Choose this path if you cannot decide on none of the above.
Please answer in provided poll with relevant path, it allows me to keep track of how useful the thread is and encourages more content in the future. It is purely Roleplay choice and does not influence the gameplay, choose what is closest to your heart, not what you actually play.
Dallarian: I see. Interesting choice. Anah’shar laje’ura. Accept may blessing and good luck on your new path of life.
As Dallarian tells his weird words, you feel chills going through your body. When they end, you are even stronger, and feel like the whole world was on your doorstep.

  9. Metagross31 liked a post in a topic by Weak1ings in Mountain Rowdy
He actually is quite good in Soultree lol, its a capable card there but not worth using in PVE in general.
I've been trying Rowdy in my PVP deck and the way it fits in is as a "small counter" where units like stormsinger tend to struggle. Its also particularly good against shadow cards like nightcrawler, darkelf, and shadow mages as it can eat up so much damage either from raw stats and its ability(stacks with shield too). Most importantly it avoids mind control and offers an alternative to war eagle that is much more suitable for rushing since it has a relevant counter unlike lyrish knight, can attack air, is tougher, and can fight amii phantoms (which stormsinger struggles against on her own)  as it can fight and win against any medium unit if properly managed and it even does OK vs. ghostspears but won't solo them.
If you read what I said above, a card that does a similar job will come to mind; War Eagle. Eagle can do many of these things but better so why use rowdy?
For the price of one eagle you can get two rowdies which are particularly useful against matchups like pure nature since eagles get stolen, and stormsingers get rooted. Rowdies do too but its so much harder to kill them and if they get focus fired just use the ability. It is not eagle replacement, but it adds flexibility to fight very annoying tech combos and is generally strong vs. shadow & non-nature splashes but pales against other factions unlike eagle which should be your main unit once power levels allow.

Rowdy is not universal but a nice to have card that plays better than lyrish for northstar decks because of its remarkable durability and synergy with area ice shield. Try rushing with him against pure nature but don't forget to build stormsingers and eagles; he is no replacement.
Side note: my frost deck has a "open" slot in which I try random things, 3 unit frost T2 is generally pretty good but is very weak to oink + parasite swarms.
  10. Weak1ings liked a post in a topic by WindHunter in Creeping Paralysis not working as intended or am i missing something?
This game as an unexplained mechanic where crowd control (CC) spells have diminishing returns. I see that the Harvester was previously effected by Oink and ensnaring roots. The oink was full duration, but the ensnaring roots is only half duration if cast while oink immunity is still present on the unit. Your creeping paralysis was cast while the unit still had its root immunity, which was affected by the oink immunity. This means your creeping paralysis had only 1/4th of its normal duration.
Rogan Kayle's "It's the shoes!" ability bypasses this restriction because the CC-immunity is applied as a separate effect from the CC itself. Another effect that bypasses the CC diminishing returns is Knight of Chaos's ability, but this only affects 2v2s.
To recap you need to allow the current CC immunity to expire otherwise any subsequent CCs will follow this time formula.
    Normal duration -> 1/2 duration -> 1/4 duration -> 1/8 duration.

PS: A good thing to do as Pure Nature is to root far out, then let the Harvester get to your well/orb. Once there the root immunity should expire and you can use Deep One's gifted catch to teleport the Harvester off your well and re-root him to the ground. Rinse and repeat. FYI root effects block nether warp.

I was curious what the rarity seal for a card introduced to the game would look like so I started drafting up a concept of what I thought it'd look like and found my work good enough to share:

I chose a Phoenix-type bird because it is kind of representative of this project; bringing something back from the dead a little like a Phoenix but considering all the work our glorious devs have done, gears might be more representative as it didn't come back on its own and took many years of hard work to create.
    Anyways Here's a question:
Is there already a planned seal and could I view it somewhere?

    About said image:
Everything is original except for the bird and as such is not completely my own work in this iteration. I am willing to design something and the process to implant it on this image is rather simple but something like that was outside the scope of my original scope at the time. (will be linked in spoiler) It seems rarity colors are affected by a Hue excluding Twilight Edition in which there are four different seals.

Thanks for the shoutout, I reckon it took me 4-5 days to complete so to any new players out there, you don't need an expensive deck to finish these missions, the real key is friends to do it quickly but most players are just as capable!

    Major limitations:
    - We cannot add fire frost cards or 3-color cards. (same limitation as with the edition images), because we can't add new components to the card rendering.
    - We cannot add new types of spells and new types of abilities. We are limited to roughly 100 different spell types, and 200 different ability types. Although the game is quite modular, so we can still create seemingly new stuff for new cards.
    - We cannot add change or add models, animations, effects for cards. If we want to add new cards, we're limited to reskins for now.

We don't have any new seal as of now. It's also not planned yet, since we are not able to add new edition images to the game as of now due to technical limitations.

    Hey,
I 'd like to propose yet another Gold Sink for this game. For a price X (let's say 100k) you can purchase 10 more decks you can have concurrently.
I am not quite sure how many more decks the client can handle, but presumably 150 (50 more in total as of now) should be fine. This option to increase the deck count limit is naturally something that only matters to veterans and hence is ideal to give them more liberty in having custom decks for all kinds of scenarios and also offers another option to spend the resource gold on without creating an unfair advantage.
I personally would greatly appreciate this feature.
    Best,
    LEBOVIN
