  1. Stats alone, Deepgorge doesn't look too bad but power efficiency is just terrible as stated in OP. Consider 1x Hatecaster can take on 1x Abomination (or barely take on 1x Giant Wyrm due to range attack) while 1x Deepgorge can't. I wouldn't mind giving Stonekin something unique from Frost but I typically do try to include Northstar especially if I am using Deepgorge. I might not include Northstar with Coldsnap but I have been going back to Coldsnap/that old staple after getting burned in rPvE with Spitfire too close to T3 orb (as opposed to Curse of Oink or Glyph of Frost). Personally, I don't think Deepgorge necessarily needed stat boost (but I am certainly not going to be the one to say no to that) and other direction could had been longer freeze time or maybe like slower attack speed as suggested by @Dallarian. Bottom line, I do think Deepgorge needed some love.
  2. I never knew Infected Tower didn't check pop cap but I do think that sounds more like a bug. I mean, I like abusing mind control abilities in PvE and that has always checked pop cap and it would been wicked bad in PvP (I assume as I don't PvP) if mind controlled unit counted against other player's pop cap (or AI/unlimited in PvE). I like the principal of all permanent units you control counting towards your pop cap (I mean if there is no pop cap, with Juice Tank, I usually can just wait it out and amass 100s of Windweavers or something so what is point of orbs -- okay maybe 100s is a little overblow). Now, I saw Twilight Curse to create Twilight Bugs and at first I thought that sounded pretty powerful to only realize Twilight Bugs aren't that strong for 110 (or 100?) power. Then it has the same benefit of reducing bounded power so that is still pretty neat. Maybe they can add more cards like Twilight Curse in future? No idea...
  3. Thanks! I know it takes a lot of work to go through the replays and all the behind the scene work! Next time I got to try harder. Watching a couple of the replays, I knew I could had make use of the camp before/near 3rd orb but I'll be a long while before I can attempt doing before the first wave of reinforcement to push towards 3rd orb... Maybe I'll try again once I am bored with the grinding for BFP/gold/upgrades. ๐Ÿ™‚
  4. I must say the only reason why I use Deepgorge is so I can place it (and bunch of other towers) next to spawn point and not have to worry too much about that spot again. It definitely did not deserved to be called a "fortress". Recently I have been toying with idea of using Frontier Keep which freezes for 10/15/20/20 seconds as opposed to Deepgorge which only 10/10/10/15 seconds. Plus Frontier Keep is T3, 2 Frost 1 Neutral so I could use other things like (3x Lost Launcher [R] for 210 power and still save 15 power; I guess with other coming changes, I might have lot more choices). Slot efficiency wise, I am not really loosing out either since I always to have other towers to support Deepgorge anyhow. Power efficiency wise, Frontier Keep obviously loses out to just 1 Deepgorge but I think you can get away with 2 Frontier Keep (due to 10 second immunity and if you are using Northstar [B]) and definitely no more than 3 so it probably becomes more power efficient compared to more 4 Deepgorge. Of course, that doesn't consider you have freeze protection for ALL your buildings and doing more damage even if you are using a more power. All that depends on situation but overall I was thinking Frontier Keep, if I didn't mind with the manual freezing part, should be better for most things. I am looking forward to the changes.
  5. Pretty nice map but the only thing I found odd is why those rescued Skyelf Sages don't boost the Worldbreaker Gun that is there? I get the Cannon Towers are more in front line but at least one Cannon Tower seems pretty out of the way. Also I am not sure but don't think the Skyelf Sages would boost the Worldbreaker Gun if those Cannon Tower(s) fall... Perhaps it would make the map way too east because once the Worldbreaker Gun is boosted (with my own Skyelf Sage), I didn't have to worry much about sending too much of my own force to reinforce the fortress. Still feels pretty odd given that a Skyelf Sage's attack is no where near that of a Worldbreaker Gun.
  6. Totally got me there... ๐Ÿฅด I feel like I got absolutely no artistic skills and only thing I can help would be trying to unlocking community mini boosters (or even better, general boosters). I hope it isn't too hard to keep an eye on something during regular play. I will have to make use of the helpful tips (I generally play at much lower settings so will need use replays).
  7. Thanks! I tried my twist on this (mostly covered by alternatives) and did rPvE 9 with literally seconds left although I think is more my lack of skills (and/or possibly sub-optimal modifications but I don't think is this). I must say this deck is a lot more forgiving than my typical Grinder deck (part of reason why it took me so long is I messed up a few times and pulling in camp next to T3 orb). I like using both version of Offering because you can use Offering B on Lost Horror to recharge your T4 units which is typically XL units (I used it with Furnace of Flesh). I didn't go with Rifle Cultists because if I figured if I had to, I could use Offering G on T3 unit to recharge Lost Horror and once again Offering B on Lost Horror to recharge T4 (XL) units. I went both affinity of Gemeye because I got them from focusing on daily Stonekin boosters but also a general note is card prices have changed since original post. I think for rPvE, Juice Tank hurts more than help (I haven't seen power wells run dry except if Resource Booster was used). For campaign PvE, I think Juice Tanks generally makes things a little easier if you got some patience (giving up a larger power pool to work with).
  8. Thanks! It was fun and I won something due to random draw! ๐Ÿ™‚ I was assuming I wouldn't manage top 10 with only a bit of trying but still blown at the top 10 times!
  9. I did not know those stats on the community and honestly I think the chances of these things mattering are pretty slim even if that were not the case. Still, it is fairly low effort so thought I mention it. I am going to try to start a religious war and say the only valid format is YYYY-MM-DD (so that it sorts property)! ๐Ÿ˜›
  10. I think this is ending soon? Also, I think you should NOT use "05.02.2022" formatting (I almost ignored this thinking that this doesn't end until MAY 2nd and that would be wrong). Also if you can add (GMT+/-???) on time (I know I some times wait until very last time). So something that looks like this: 23:59 (GMT+1???) Feb. 5, 2022
  11. Interesting being pushed to use units I rarely used and most I never owned. Thanks for doing this!
  12. I think Dreadnought is awesome for CPvE but I never played pure Frost before just because of the prohibitive cost. I am just (re)starting Skylords myself and I am still going with my old favorite of Stonekin but doing Nature start instead of Frost start this time around. I like Frost myself but Stonekin was the cheaper option to start with and allows for working towards pure Frost (or Nature). With that said, I would throw other expensive options out there of Enlightenment and Amii Monument (I never owned the latter). Still trying to decide that my "endgame" would look like (definitely finishing all maps on expert would be on top of my list; I think I was 4 to 6 maps away). I guess I'll see what daily Stonekin boosters toss me and go from there.
  13. First, is all good advice but I am amazed you didn't list reading community updates (if only for the freebie code reward and I mean if people are reading the original post or my reply then they are obviously already doing right thing of being on the forum). Only point I slightly disagree on is the market aspect and is not there is anything wrong with the advice but just maybe I am placing a stronger emphasis on Although I know you can not sell booster packs via auction house and buying booster pack with daily discount then selling it is a guaranteed way of making a profit, I just hate the indefinite time I need to wait around. Also I am with Majora, to me part of the fun of these type of games is trying to use what you are given (and AH is the safety net for the unluckiest rolls) and this is even though I am definitely seeing more misses than hits (that is, most of the time I could had bought the cards I got from booster packs from AH for less than cost of the booster pack). Back in the day when we had to buy BFP for real money (at least that how I got the initial pool of BFP to work with), I definitely stayed away from booster packs and "play the odds of AH" (looking for what felt like under priced cards on AH and trying to flip it for more BFP). With that I guess I'll sneak in, first post on this forum but I would not consider myself as a "true new player". EDIT: fixed typos
